  1. I keep my soap on a rope after a bad experience in prison while picking my shower gel up off the floor....
  2. 99RON? Are you supposed to run a Zed on Super Unleaded then? Isn't 95RON okay?
  3. Hmmm.... Yellow. Now there's a thought....
  4. Cheers guys I wasn't sure how the orange plenum would look and knew it wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but for the sake of £20 on materials and a couple of hours with the spanners, I figured I'd give it a go. I still wasn't sure even after I'd painted it. But once I refitted it and then started to put everything else back on, I decided I liked it. I did also paint the battery and fluid covers orange, but this was WAY too much Tango. After a failed attempt at painting the dots and lettering on the covers black, I decided carbon was the way forward and figured the orange lettering would finish it off. Like most things I've done, it was a suck it and see exercise. And I like how it concluded
  5. Ok so the voices in my head told me to paint my plenum and throttle body orange. When I ignored them they started shouting until I gave in and did it to shut them up. They also told me to get a pair of carbon battery and brake fluid covers. I'm glad the voices persisted now, as I really like it combined with the carbon covers. I think I've finished now.... And before anyone mentions it, yes I do have a '- Battery +' decal
  6. Chances are it's either a K1 or a K2 (if it is a Japspeed and not been bodged together like you suspect). To help identify which you have, take a lok at this thread - both are very different. http://www.350z-uk.c...vs-japspeed-k2/ EDIT: Just found your post in your build thread. You have a K1 my friend (Same as me) With some TLC and elbow grease, you should be able to clean it up to a presentable level, although if pitted, I doubt you'll see a mirror finish.
  7. Both one and the same mate.
  8. Adding colour to an engine bay is a pointless unneccessary evil and it can easily be over-done. Some folk just don't know when to stop. "...just leave alone now...." wise words my friend
  9. I was perfectly happy with my HU. But now I'm thinking of an upgrade. Might make an interesting conversation. "So, what features are you looking for? Bluetooth? iPod connectivity?" "Boobs".
  10. Red Bull gives you Big Gay Wings!
  11. Beware of cheap hoes.
  12. ..... Just looking for a good time Will
  13. I'm sure I saw this card (with 'Whacky Will' and a mobile number) dotted around several phone boxes in Central London.....
  14. Putting the view to one side, I must admit, I'm envious of the amount of floor space you have in your garage!!!
  15. I just used needle nosed pliers for mine. But what grapes did you use? Red, white, purple, green, seedless? Just think it might help others if a specific grape is better/more useful than another
  16. I know it's over a month away, but I can't wait for this. Really looking forward to it
  17. Can't beat a splash of colour in the bay. Looks good Ash
  18. I used Ford Electric Orange from Halfords mate - nice and bright! It's a lovely colour
  19. Hi, I figured I'd bump the thread and answer your query, but maybe others would add their thoughts too? Initially, I would of said they don't really quieten the road noise down by much, and their primary function was to stop folk peering into your boot. But, I've got a K1, which is fairly noisy and recently, I had to remove my tonneau to carry something in the boot, it was then that I did notice a definite difference in the level of noise coming from the rear. I've also been told by members that their partners like the dividers as it quietens the exhaust noise So, it would appear, that on average, 8 out of 10 cats said that it did reduce road and exhaust noise Hope that helps
  20. I really like this smoothed + lip look. I'm halfway there, I must pull my finger out! Looks great
