I used mine where the splitter wraps round the edge of the bumper, forward of the front wheels. 2x each side. I assume this is correct, as the splitter hasn't moved!

Well, I'll help you and and stop the ridicule you receive from your peers. I'll take those uncool covers off you. My friends and peers hate, mock and ridicule me anyway.
