  1. Don't suppose you were at Shelsley yesterday were you? With Destroy Stuff stickers on the car?

    My Beemer.

Nice car Will. I really like the e46 ci and convertible's. My mate has the 330 convertible too. He loves it. I bet it'll be hard letting it go when the time comes.
  3. I've seen a silver 350z the last three days at virtually the same spot on my morning commute, between Fernhill Heath and the Copcut Elm pub on the Worcester - Droitwich road. Time will have been around 7.25am. You'd be heading towards Copcut and I'm heading towards Worcester and the M5. I flashed and waved this morning, however being in a red Alfa, this may of gone un-noticed Anyone?
  4. Hello and to the forum Matt As others have said (thanks guys), you should pop along to Shelsley on Sunday, I'm sure with 20+ Zeds we won't be hard to find! Be even better if you could meet us at the rendezvous point in Stourport - it'll give you opportunity to put faces to usernames and cars before we disperse in search of breakfast.(Just let me know if you can) Usually something planned/happening in the West Mids/Worcs area every month, here's a link to what we got up to last year: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85191-west-mids-meet-schedule-retrospective-2014/ I'll add you to the West Mids owners mailing list so I can pester you with spam when we have any events coming up Whereabouts in South Worcestershire are you located? Ian
  5. That's a great pic, many thanks for sharing
  6. Kev (KC350Z) had a modified Nismo one on his roadster.
  7. Good! It's about time he got rid of that REO status after deserting us West Mids folk..... Nice one matey May your new administrative powers serve you well
  8. I did my seats the same way just over a year ago, in a lighter colour to these (also a BMW colour). There were concerns at the time of how long it would last and how it would look after time. I'm pleased to report they're holding up really well. I was thinking about updating my original thread with some pics of my seats 'a year on' and think I will do ASAP now. My thread and pics can be seen here, plus the simple 4 step process involved.... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81278-new-seats-sort-of/ The only area where the colour has worn off slightly is on the very edge of the drivers seat where the stitching of the base meets the side (where you swing your legs over to get in and out). This is easily touched up with a paintbrush. The seat bolster (where I was expecting the worst wear) is still fine). This really is minimal though. Hammerz, what finish did you go for? It doesn't look gloss, but I can't tell if it's satin or matt? (I used satin).
  9. Post a pic of the wheels in question Ian. Black wheels would look awesome on your Zed, but if the wheels need to be shown off and not lost, don't go black. My vote goes to anthracite. Definitely a dark colour for Temper

    plenum paint

Beat me to it. Doesn't need to be VHT. Mine's been Fosus ST orange for a while now, with no discolouration.
  11. WOW! What's the process? Did all the models begin like as a new piece/off the shelf kit and you carry out the ageing and rusting etc? I think I've got an example of your handy work on the nearside rear arch of my Zed....
  12. Hi all, thanks for the comments, I sold it this evening to a friend that knows the car and the ltc I've given it. Plus he's said I get visiting rights and can still drive it now and again. Bonus. Matt, regarding the Cup pack(s), I was alwYs led to believe there were different levels of cup pack. The 'full fat' versions featured the half leather, climate control, uprated suspension, grey wheels and larger rear spoiler and splitter. Mine has all but the spoiler/splitter.
  13. It IS steep Rob. But I'm sure there'll be a few of us to give you a hand at the top
  14. Haha, you gotta larf.... Quoting directly from my listing: "So I am regretfully selling my Clio to make place for a diesel mile muncher. I’m not interested in a part exchange or swap thanks, as I’ve already found a replacement car.........." And now a message I've just received: Alright mate I'm looking to sell my vauxhaul vectra or swap it for a Clio sport 2.0. My reg is FP06 0WE 1.8 petrol Black, 5 door, leather interior passenger side bumper is smashed due to recent snow, 76000 on clock, built in sat nav Really wish I hadn't bought another car now
  15. And we all thought the Zed would be too big! Keep us posted on the May event, I'll organise a meet there if you're competing. I'm sure you could swindle a paddock pass or twenty
  16. Oh YES! Do it Andy. Mark, Bennett and I all agreed it would be great to come and watch an actual race event. And what better reason than to come along and cheer one of our own. Taking anything up there flat out takes some remarkably big steel kahuna's, let alone a Zed. You do get a very strange, but real sense of nostalgia and heritage when in the pit area and walking up the course. There's no real evidence of 'modern' motor racing and it still appears as it would of many years ago. The health and safety busy bodies haven't prevented you from sitting trackside protected by a bit of rope and a man in a cap. OK, maybe he would be wearing a hi viz jacket.....
  17. Taking the opportunity for as much advertising as possible, I thought I'd share my listing for my RenaultSport Clio 182 here. Please spread the word if you know anyone that maybe interested. Many thanks. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-RENAULT-CLIO-182-CUP-RENAULTSPORT-16V-BLACK-Not-172-or-197-/291377185823? Open to sensible offers and more favour will be given if mentioning this forum
  18. A drone was hovering above us for part of the day. Check out the results. I can see my car!! http://youtu.be/XKS0fmryLXA And a pic
  19. It really was mate. Such a wide variety of cars. So many I didn't get pictures of (Here's hoping you did Mark..... ).
  20. Here's a Jag for you OAP's (Check out the number plate) You can't really tell from pics but, man, it's STEEP!!
  21. MopedMark and I took a trip to Shelsey Walsh today for a bit of a sdry run for the upcoming March Breakfast Club. We even bumped into Bennett (GT4 Zed) while walking up the hill/course. We did pick up a few tips and pointers that will help the meet run (hopefully) a lot smoother nmext month, but I won't bore you with those here, I'll just share the pics. Considering it was a cold, damp, foggy February morning, the turnout was still rather excellent. I can only imagine how good and big it's going to get in the summer! It was nice to see some exotica actually getting their wheels (and pretty much everything else) dirty and coming out of their winter slumber. Great to see them actually being used, rather than just show pieces or sunny day posing pieces. Anyway, here's my pics....
