  1. It certainly sounded awesome Like a jet fighter coming in to land!
  2. Hi All, I'm trying to embed this video, but can only seem to link to my PB account that opens in another window. Can someone help please? http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb445/14N-TT/th_SAM_1487_zpsbteurozv.mp4
  3. And a video (of Andrew Jones) http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb445/14N-TT/th_SAM_1487_zpsbteurozv.mp4
  4. Awesome day today at Shelsley, what a fantastic event. There can't be many other motorsport events where spectators are allowed to wander freely round the paddock looking at all sorts of race, road and specialist cars (and there really was a large variety). I've got a wedge of photos, but I'll save those for another thread, save cluttering Andy's thread. But here are some of the man in question. Well done Andy
  5. I know it's 1.25. It's just one of those things that folk seem to ask for that aren't too easy to find or get hold of. I just thought if sold as an 8 piece kit, it was a valid suggestion.
  6. The strut brace bolts (and 2x nuts) are hard to get hold of due to the fine pitch.

    Help..

Just been out to check mate (as I was no help what-so-ever with your seat connection query - ). Definitely M6. The rear bolts would be fine 20-25mm long and you'll need a pair of nuts and washers for the two at the front. Domed nuts would look best (polished for your bay of course) as they're on display. When removing your Rare cover, you should see 2x 6mm threaded pins sticking up - it's these that locate in the front two holes of the OEM engine cover, and the domed nuts screw onto.

    Help..

They're M6 IIRC. The 2x at the front are domed nuts. The 2x to the rearof the cover are just M6 bolts (but the one on the RHS is a PITA to get to under the strut brace).
  9. Just paint it. Paint it ALL!
  10. Jeez! So glad you're both okay. When's the big day then?
  11. It's even older than the old money. The format you mention (which preceeded the format we have now) is A123 ABC Mine is the format before that! (Circa the 70's). The 'actual' plate is DOL 314N. But my '3' appears to have slipped a bit to the left
  12. Finally! I've received my V5 back and IT'S ON! (Please excuse my excitement). I inquired with the DVLA early last year to see if this plate was available for purchase and was very pleased when they responded and said that it was not currently assigned to a vehicle, so they had noted my interest and said it would feature in a future auction. However, they could not tell me when, or which auction I continued to pester them, sending an email every month or two (not using an email address giving my first and last name ), offering to purchase the plate outside of the auction process, but was faced with the same responses; "We've noted your interest, it will feature in a future auction, we can't tell you which or when, but we'll let you know". I'd pretty much given up hope, until last month when I received an email informing me my plate had been released and would be in the next DVLA timed online auction (basically DVLA eBay). Cutting a longer story short (and a very nervous week later) - I won! Fortunately for me, no one else bid and I secured it for the reserve price. For those that don't know me, my name is IAN DOLE, hence the reason I REALLY wanted this plate.
  13. Yes mate, that's the one
  14. I work next to a large Porsche Centre/Dealership,; and everyday they move their 'stock' (a considerable number of Porsche's) out of the secure overnight storage and park on the forecourt. Then every evening, the cars are started again and moved back into secure storage (the forecourt is empty come closing time). The cars move a maximum of 20-30 metres before being parked. The same procedure is followed every day. Am I the only one that thinks all this 'cold start - move - park - switch off' followed by 'cold start - move - park - switch off' approximately 9 hours later, really can't be doing the engines much good?
  15. Thanks GIXXERUK, I appreciate the thought. James - PM received and replied to

    350Z Artwork

Start a list so we can at least give him an idea of numbers. I'd definitely be interested, so I'll kick things off I do understand that my Zed would need extra 'time' purchased (for the wheels etc) as it's not standard. 1. Bodyboarder81 2. 14N 3.
  17. "Hey! Edd. Mike. A sphinctersayswhat".
  18. Just go with a set of HFCs (Hi-Flow Cats) and remove any MOT issues or concerns. Also, stop taking your Zed to Nissan for servicing!
  19. I think failure to use the basic search function successfully renders the '350 posts gets a sticker' reward invalid.
  20. Yes. That's me dropping the car off with rusty bits and then picking it up with rusty bits removed, replaced and repainted. Hopefully the same colour as the rest of the car.
  21. Credit where credit's due. With the carefully placed vinyl on the rear window changing the lines of the car and gave it (Quote) "More powerful haunches and a sense of purpose". Yes Edd, you definitely flocked that one fella.
  22. ONG! I've just seen the Pacer episode. I think Edd's lost it or he's been drinking Terraclean. Putting signed viper stripes on a Impreza was a bit WTF?! (Remember that?) but that Pacer is..... Different? I just hope and pray he got whatever it was out of his system before picking up tools on the 240z.
