  1. Not that it helps with recommendations, but should help with price guide. My Zed is currently in the body shop having three rusty areas cut out the near side rear arch and replaced with new metal. I went to four places and three quoted £300 and one £330. Gotta wait till Saturday before I can pick her up
  2. True. I guess I was edging towards the point that MM has been on the bike for 2 years and CS had been off it (competitively). But then again, we're talking about Casey Stoner. He'd just jump on it, wring it's neck, jump off and ask "What's the problem. Let's go fishing". Oooo,Phillip Island, now THAT'S a thought.
  3. I do think MM error was indeed an error and not a win it or bin it decision. I don't think he was expecting VR to be on the line he was and it was just an unfortunate racing incident. Front wheel verses rear wheel is never gonna win. And looking at his reactions and disappointment afterwards, he knew he only had himself to blame. Whether he did have anything left in the tyre, we'll never know. If he had, and he'd stayed the right way up, the last couple of laps would of been intense! But, what' if's and maybe's don't count for anything. MM has now had 2 full seasons on a MotoGP bike (and won both of them), whereas CS hasn't ridden with the rest of the pack in that time (and not against MM). Although I would love to see Stoner battle it out with Marquez, I don't think it would happen (or be as close as we'd like to see) if Casey was only to return for a round or two. But if he stuck around for three or four..... This year is certainly shaping up to be a cracker.
  4. Bugger. Missed it and this thread cos MotoGP was on Still, thanks for the heads up CJ. Series linked now and I'll catch a repeat in the week Hmmm. 8pm on a Sunday? I'm sure there used to be another car show on at this time. Now what was it called....?
  5. They do frequently sell for over £100 on eBay. If you do have all the fixings then this is a real advantage, as they do seem to go missing quite easily. I have seen them go for less and it does seem to be a bit of a gamble, but with the fixings, I'd say Flyboy's £120 is pretty bang on PS Thanks Veegee
  6. I think Sam Lowes needs a chat with Marc about knowing where (and settling for) the position your bike will finish. That was an awesome race, really exciting watching Rossi close him down, and calculating that he'd do it with only one or two laps left. A fantasic day for the Brits in Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP. Not forgetting JR in SBK too. Bikes are ace.
  7. Hi Lanky. I'd be happy to. I'll send you a PM. Oh, and to the forum
  8. Just paint your engine cover red - then it would all match. Simples
  9. ^^^^ This ^^^^ It's also called a non-return valve. I've previously asked the same question and posted a pic of the valve in a thread somewhere. (Goes off to search...). Edit: Found it http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63671-cleaning-screen-washer-jets/page__hl__+return%20+valve#entry943996
  10. Can someone please add 'NSFW' to the title? Last time I looked at this thread it was just text! There's me innocently scrolling down on my lunch break.....
  11. No worries. No idea why, but the Nismo ones are fibreglass, but OEM are not.
  12. Discovered a series on National Geographic channel about (and called) 'Supercars'. There's an episode tomorrow at 17:00 about the Nissan GT-R, with a look inside the factory etc. Maybe of interest
  13. Hello and Bluestrike. I'm up the road in Kidderminster, so hopefully see you soon
  14. Cheers Brummie Hello and to the forum. As the orange one said, keep your eyes open on the West Mids section of the forum for upcoming events and take look at the stuff we've been upto previously. I'll add you to the West Mids owners and mailing list (you too Bluestrike), so hopefully see you guys soon. Ian - West Mids REO and THE BEST looking Zed owner in the region.
  15. I'm sure I've uploaded some to Photobucket. I'll have a search and send you them. If not I'll take some more
  16. From this day forward, we shall call you Cyclops. I'll fetch my coat
  17. Lewis Hamilton, Chaz Davies, Danny Kent and now Sam Lowes on the top step today C'MON THE BRITS! No pressure Cal, Brad, Scot
  18. I've got a genuine Nismo N1, needs prep and paint. £250?
  19. I just marvel at how his brain must work. The end of pit lane (and the end of pit lane wall) was only about 10 metres away, maybe even less. 99% of us would of probably run to the end of the wall and entered pit lane that way. Effectively running 120m instead of 100. But not Marquez. He lifts himself up and over pit wall because it was quicker and the clock was ticking.
  20. Wow. If the race is anything like Q2, I can't wait. Marquez on his #2 bike, on the 'wrong' front tyre and admittedly out of control still sticks it on [censored for those that haven't seen it] place.
