+1 on this. The VS bumper needs to be fitted with the right bodykit parts to work - and you're workin' it baby

Bit of a vague spotted (as I didn't see it) , but my friend took delight in telling me she saw a nice black 350Z (I assume near Wakefield). And as they took the trouble to note the reg No. I thought I'd post it up here. Anyone?

I'll take the OEM skirts if you'd post them?

Followed a gunmetal 350z through centre of Wolverhampton yesterday (Stafford Rd). Anyone?

Yeah, that's how I did it. Join can't be seen once fitted.

Thanks everyone Nothing too exciting - Test Anslyst/Software tester. But it's with a good company and hopefully good prospects. They're a financial services company that acquired their banking licence earlier this year so are developing their products, services and systems. So a great time to be joining them. Thanks again all.

Update for those that are interested/care/posted in the thread/or accidentally touched the screen of their smartphone whilst viewing new content Had my second interview this morning. Had to give a presentation and answer some scenario based questions. I got the job Apparently they (the interviewers) have a set series of questions they ask each candidate after they have delivered their presentation. After I'd delivered mine, they looked at each other, looked at the questions they had, asked each other if they had any questions and initially they were stumped - I'd covered everything in my presentation From that point it was in the bag apparently. I smashed it Happy days.

I'm going to go against the grain here a bit (flame suit on) I've wrapped various parts in my engine bay and all are upholding really well, with no blistering or peeling. The parts I've wrapped are: Front (Rickdon) slam panel, JWT popcharger heatsheild, top of radiator shroud (beneath the hose) and the strut brace. I appreciate none are in DIRECT contact with any parts giving out significant heat, but the strut brace is directly above (and close to) the engine and does get pretty darn warm. These were/are all relatively easy DIY jobs though and if they did peel or blister, could easily be removed and/or re-done. If you're thinking of wrapping the bay as a job in itself, I'd take the advice of the professionals above and ignore mine. EDIT: Each of the above items I've wrapped is a flat surface. The most 'unflat' (is that even a word?) is the strutbrace. Trying to get wrap to stay stuck to an uneven surface, when re-introducing heat would be like p****** into the wind

I did it to a spare airbox I had and didn't notice any issues regarding power etc. There was an increase in induction noise, especially about 4k rpm. I then managed to bag a JWT pop charger (which is considered to make a great noise) and swapped my Swiss cheese airbox for the JWT. It did sound very similar. Happy to sel you my old airbox to save you cutting your own up. Drop me a PM if you want pics or anymore info

Yeah, best to keep things toned down in the engine bay. You don't wanna go too loud or in yer face

I saw what happened to Dave last night. What a legend! Shame it looks like it might affect the rest of the tour though. I'm sure he'll do all he can to still perform.

Here you mate. Not fitted properly, it's only placed on the headlight, but you can hopefully see it follows the curvature of the light pretty closely, even before it's stuck down.

I've heard that there can be fitment issues with the eyebrows, but I'm not sure how as they're really simple! These are fairly flexible though (or at least flexible enough) so no issues that I found. They're eBay ones mate. No real closeup pics (as they were only on long enough for me decide they weren't for me ), but they're not exactly hard to fit, so I'll take some at the weekend. Any particular area where you found fitment was particularly bad that you'd like to see focused on?

Thanks all. I've been going with Plan A all along so far,but you know when that element of doubt kicks in, it's just good to get some reassurance you're doing the right thing. I've had a few telephone interviews this week that I'm waiting to hear back from, but I had a face-to-face interview last Friday for a position that I'd like to get the most. I've now been invited back for the second (and final) stage for that one (next Friday 19th), so fingers crossed. Cheers all

Hi All, I'm currently in the process of looking and applying for a new job. One question that I seem to be asked a lot is "Have you got anything else lined up/Have you applied for other positions"? etc. I'm not quite sure how to answer this for the best (for me). Honest answer is; yes I've applied elsewhere and I'm in different stages of their respective selection process (Telephone interviews/stage one face-to-face/second interview etc). So, when asked this question, do I answer: A ). Yes, I've applied for other positions and I'm currently in different stages of the process after attending interviews. I'm just awaiting feedback and confirmation (or not) if I've reached the next stage. In the hope that this gives the impression that other companies are interested in me and creates an additional sense of desirability that others may want me and my experience, making any offer an improved one. My only other thoughts on this are; if you were on a first date and the girl (or guy, depending on which team you play for) asks if you've got anything else lined up and you reply "Yes, I've spoken to a few on the telephone, I'm emailing another, plus I've got other dates tomorrow and Friday" I think you'd be lucky to get a second date. Or there's option B. When asked, say that this is the only position you've applied for so far, as the job, company and career prospects at [insert company name] are perfect and you'd really like to come and develop your own career here. Nowhere else. You're the only girl (or guy ) for me. Your thoughts welcome. (Awaits LMGTFY link.... ). Cheers, Ian

Hi guys, sorry for the delayed reply, I'll send you each a PM soon, but in the meantime I've replied to each below Thanks for your interest STYLZ has also asked me about getting a LED version. I'm looking into the perspex and LEDs needed so I can give a better idea of price. (Mark provided his own for the one I made for him). No probs, will do Most of the ideas are on page 1 of this thread. If you can think of anything else, just let me know. I hope it was a fresh (soft) bread roll, rather than a stale one Sorry, don't mean to laugh at your misfortune, at least it wasn't a tin or jar of something!. The divider would have prevented any bread/head related incident. I'll send you a PM ASAP.

WHAT!? Where??? My Fiesta and Razzle subscriptions are costing me a fortune

Okay okay. I get that this may not be current, cutting edge news. But I've just found a site that I'm sure you won't have heard of. I think it may take off once people start to use it. It's called eBay. It's like an online auction site. I'm gonna tell all my MySpace friends about it too.
-
Well I guess I've never asked a dumb question before - That's why I've never seen or heard of it
-
Not sure if you've seen this, I've only learnt about it today, but thought it was rather amusing so figured I'd share it. You know when asked a question, that makes you wonder if the person asking has even heard of The Internet and/or were even aware of Google? Well, if asked such a question now, rather than just facepalm and (if feeling helpful) linking them to a page/site that answers their query, use the uRL www.lmgtfy.com (Let Me Google That For You). Ask the question you've been asked to LMGTFY, then copy the link and send the link to the person that asked the original question. (It's simpler than it sounds, honest ) They then get to watch as Google is asked the question. For example if asked "What are the differences between a JDM and UK 350z"? Here's your answer: http://bfy.tw/GRK Now stop asking me questions that very well may have been asked once or twice before!

Pretty dangerous too Would solve the issue of scratched internal door handles though. Mopedmark and MadMarky has them on his Veilside Z. It must be a Mark thing....

I'm shocked, stunned and impressed all at the same time!
