Looks like a good car, low miles for year and well priced. I think your biggest hurdle is the fact you're trying to sell a (relatively) high powered RWD car, in winter, a week before Christmas. If you could hold onto it until spring, I'm sure a car in that condition would sell for the price you're after no problem. It's the best colour too

You may joke, but as I can't use/don't have photoshop, my first crude attempts at wondering what my engine bay would look like orange, where done in a very similar fashion on MSPaint! Literally was a case of: Zoom in - colour in - zoom out - zoom in - colour some more in - zoom out - repeat till fade....

But what you could do is paint "I WILL KILL AGAIN" in deep red on the living room wall, then paper over it. Then, when the new owners come to strip the wallpaper to decorate, they will see this and no doubt find it very amusing.

Some great (and not so great) moments there guys, thanks for sharing. Please keep them coming Mine? There are a few. But winning a close car of the month earlier this year is definitely up there as a high. All the great meets I've organised and attended, meeting familiar and new faces and seeing some cracking cars. A low point? Discovering the passenger side, deep water feature my car developed in Wales and finally getting it sorted. All in all, a great year. And a heck of a lot of it, is thanks to you lot!

Car looks great Veegee. Just to add my 2p worth - I wouldn't sell your OEM lights mate, I'd hold onto them. There are loads of used ones on the market and the LED version always sell like cakes that are very hot. Put your original ones in a safe place, then swap 'em over when/if the time comes to move on from your Z. They won't really add anything to the value of the car, but would put some cash in your sky rocket when the time comes.

Not sure if you've seen my bay or not, but it's orange and, erm, orange! I think the polished plenum look amazing, and I also have a core strut from the MopedMan which look great polished too. NBt I have nothing else that's polished in my bay, so, even though I like the shiny plenum, it would not have worked in my bay either. Hence the reason I painted mine.... Orange

Good shout. I think just a good coat of satin black would work well with all the other pieces. It wouldn't overshadow any of the orange and would tie in with the dipped pieces nicely. Just my opinion. See how it looks when it's back together.

One burning question, that'll stick out once you refit all this - What have you got planned for the plenum?
