  1. Phillip Island 2013: Well, that's stirred things up a bit!
  2. So sorry to see that Dip. Any chance of it being caught on CCTV?
  3. Brillo speaks the truth: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-RACING-EXHAUST-TWIN-SPORTS-EXHAUST-D-CAT-JDM-TRACK-DRIFT-BREAKING-/271296904553?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2a8e3d69
  4. I'm thinking Japspeed K2. Are the tips and C shaped sections welded or clamped to the back box?

    New Exhaust

Ahh ok. If you have one large rear silencer it's a Japspeed K2. If you have two small silencers (one one each tail pipe) and have found that your neighbours no longer speak to you, it's a Japspeed K1. As Tarmac says, they're not known for their quality and have a bit of a bad rep, but I've had the K2 and currently have the K1 and were/am happy with both.

    New Exhaust

Best thing would be to get to a meet and have a look at other members. Maybe post a pic of your own exhaust so we can get an idea of what you've got. Also, have you got a 350 or 370? You mention 350 in your post but have posted in a 370 thread?
  7. If you had a 3 inch diameter, maybe she would
  8. Bump for the weekend. Offers welcome.
  9. Hi Ian, I replaced my OEM mid pipe with a straight thru one. The original is 2.25 inch diameter and I replaced with 3 inch. See more here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67814-me-and-my-zed-update-151013-littletweaks-and-a-massive-plane/page__st__120 If you're still retaining the original diameter pipe and only removing the mid silencer, don't expect massive volume increases. The sound will still be restricted by the chambered construction of the back box. I did get a nice deeper sound with my pipe, but think this had a lot to do with the increased diameter too. If you've got the opportunity to try it and "suck it n' see", then go for it. I was hoping for a bit more shouty exhaust when I had mine done, but TBH was disappointed. Hence the reason it was shortly replaced with a very shouty K1 and the custom mid pipe is now in the for sale section.

    Matchbox 350Z

You've de-valued it now you've taken it out the packaging for the photo. Looks good in the daylight though - almost lifelike.
  11. Think that's a great idea Mark, would be good for those driving to meet up somewhere first. Added you and BrummieS to the list
  12. Nice subtle attempt at product placement. Sponsered by Monster Energy are we?
  13. Happy birthday Vik.
  14. Received my LED reflectors today, thanks Chris. Can't wait to get them fitted and wired up. I'll report back with some pics
  15. Send Zmanalex a PM. I'm sure he'll have these considerably cheaper than the price you were quoted from Nissan and already in the UK. Probably in stock and good to go same/next day too
  16. I'm not a techie and I'm not sure how the BOSE is screwed together (I'm sure someone wil be along that does), but would the buttons be part of the facia panel and therefore as long as this can be changed, might possibly solve the issue? Just thinking out-loud til somebody offers me another straw to clutch at.
  17. They are matched/paired to a car's ECU, but can be recoded (not sure how this is done though). I assume from your username you mean the Bose from a 350Z, rather than a 370Z as per the section you've posted this in?
  18. I now also wanna see a build thread for that workshop! It looks epic!
  19. More here mate if you missed them: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77010-cosford-paintballz-photos/ (Sorry, off topic I know).
  20. If your budget doesn't stretch as far as snow tyres, buy a set of snow socks and chuck 'em in your boot. If it does get to the point where you can't move, put the socks on to get you out of trouble. Just remember to take them off again when you hit treated Tarmac!
  21. A London School Has Banned Students From Saying “Innitâ€, Likeâ€, “Bare†And “Ain’t†Surely that title has excessively used capital letters? Completely highlighted by the "And". Basically sayin' ain't I like. Safe.
  22. So what's the latest mate?
  23. Hi All, Choptop and I are trying to get the wheels (yes, they're the right offset, staggered fit, no spacers required, fitted with good tyres before anyone asks) in motion for a national Christmas (there - I said it, I said the 'C' word) meet and forum get-to-gether. Details are a little lite at the moment as we would need to have a greater understanding of numbers involved before looking to book venues for a meal etc. Appreciate the clock is ticking though. But, what we do have so far is a date and location (as in city). When: Saturday 7th December Where: Birmingham. Previous similar events have been held here as it's centrally located for (almost) everyone and has good access to the road and rail networks. Initial thoughts are; we meet at a bar or restaurant on Broad Street for a forum Xmas meal and social event and then spill out onto Broad Street taking advantage of it's numerous establishments offering entertainment of a differing variety There are many hotels on or within easy reach of Broad Street and plenty of parking available in NCP style car parks and/or at the hotels themselves. A quick search of a few of the hotels returns a variety of rates and availability for the 7th, I've given an idea below of what's been found so far. If you do find anything better/different/more suitable/cheaper, please let everyone else know. Copthorne Hotel, Paradise Circus £89 Thistle City Centre, £67 Jury's Inn, Broad Street £81 Travelodge Broad Street £72 IBIS Birmingham £65 Ramada Birmingham £76 Menzies Birmingham Hagley Rd £66 The famous German Christmas Market will also be running at this time and is also located on Broad Street, so you/we can have a good look around here either on the Saturday before the meal or on Sunday as and when you surface. This is a forum event, open to all. Not just a regional meet, hence the reason we though a central location would be best. Any further suggestions and/or recommendations are welcomed (such as hotels and restaurants etc). So, who'd be up for this then? Can we start a list? (Please also indicate any +1's to give an indication on numbers). 1. Choptop 2. 14N 3. Ekona +1 4. Ph 7 5. BrummieStormer +1
