    My 350

That's quite a list of mods. Did you do them or where they on the car when you bought it? Seems as though it was owned by a Zed enthusiast. to the forum.
  2. You decided if your coming to Cosford yet mate?
  3. One thing that impressed my mate about the Zed is the fact that when you adjust the steering wheel, the clocks/instrument cluster move too. As a lanky git, sorry, tall gentle man, he said he often finds that moving the steering wheel to suit, often means it obscures the clocks. Not a problem in the Zed though EDIT "tall gentleman". Not "tall gentle man". That kinda gives the wrong impression
  4. Hi Dave, I don't have any spare I'm afraid, but as long as the rain holds off for a while this coming weekend, I should hopefully get chance to make you one in time for Cosford. I still need to make Randy's so I will try at the earliest opportunity.
  5. I have an auto tint rear view mirror. If a car is behind me with full beam on, it just looks like they have sidelights on. Oh, hold on, that might be something to do with my dark tinted rear window.
  6. I dunno about joining in with you guys. It did give me a greater appreciation of what you do though. We started off with donuts and figure of 8's, which I found easy (and was doing well at apparently), but when moving onto an elongated 'S' and linking turns, things got a litle more tricky. Only had 3 attempts though , I'm sure I'd have got it with a bit more practice. The drive home in the Zed was an interesting one. Certainly a test of will power and self control when negotiating roundabouts! I'm in the West Mids/Worcestershire

  8. Excellent. I'll add you to the list then Andy. Look forward to seeing you on the 12th. I'll also include you in the PM list with a few more details on
  9. Yep, definitely does. Removing the boot liner carpet/rug gives you a little more room to slide the wheel and/or tyre under the strut brace.
  10. Sorry, slight hi-jack, but you just mentioned a drifter called Brad. I don't suppose he helps out at L2D (Learn2Drift) does he? I had a lesson with them yesterday (awesome morning) and a guy called Brad was one of my instructors.
  11. Why not just come to Cosford for the morning? You'll be home for lunchtime. G'wan g'wan g'wan g'wan. You know you want to
  12. I'll have a look when I'm home later and see how many are busted or just looking sorry for themselves. Probably get a few spare too!
  13. Could you PM me a price please Alex, including postage?
  14. Hi Jumping350, did you get some clips sorted in the end? If so, where did you get them from - I need some. Nissan want £1.72 each, but you can normally get a bag of 10 for £4-£5 on eBay, just wondered if you'd found something suitable?
  15. Hi Ryam, I drove a S14a today. Great fun to the forum. There's a meet on 12th October at RAF Cosford nr Wolves, be great to see you there. Link in my sig (if you haven't already found it). I'll add you to the WM mailing list too
  16. You did the right thing, but I would of definitely taken their dust caps. Especially if they were dice
  17. Woohoo Welcome back! We've missed you. Car looks great. So..... You gonna come to Cosford on the 12th and show it off?
  18. Hello and to the forum. I can only imagine/assume that when the car turned up at the dealers, it needed new rubber, or the previous owner was on a budget. Either way, the cheapest option was chosen. I've seen a few reports on the accelera's and, as said above, they seem to be OK in the dry and naff in the wet. Plus as we're about to hit October, it's gonna get a lot colder and wetter soon
  19. Hello and Andy. Depending on which side of Chesterfield you're on and how far/long you're prepared to drive, there's a meet at RAF Cosford on 12th Oct. Be a great opportunity to meet some Zedders and have a nose at some cars (and planes) Link in my sig.
  20. That seems good and relevant info on the CAB site, but I'd definitely contact them directly, that way you'll have contact details of the representative you spoke to and more than likely be able to open a case or at least get a case reference from them to quote in any further communication with the garage.
  21. Am I in a gang now then?
  22. Looks great Net. But... Finished? You should know better than to say that!
