  1. Out of interest, what where the circumstances? What had someone done, that they needed to do again?
  2. I like it (apart from the graphics). Would definitely need to know more about the history and the 'more reliable' comment is a concern. For a 2003 71k car it is a little on the expensive side, but if an Nismo kitted azure is top of your wish list it might be worth a bit extra to you. It's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. So if you're happy with the price, for the car you want, can't hurt making a serious enquiry. Did notice the yellow Evo ina couple of pics. Read into that what you will.....
  3. I imagine the Civic is a more practical car than the Zed (if you're "not suitable" comment is referring to it's practicality). But it's OK, a Zed never attracts attention or stands out in a car park...... along Jason
  4. As a guide price, my rear window was £70. That would of included the 2 small rear quarter windows too, but I decided not to have those done. Ultimate wraps near Dudley did it and I was pleased with the results and service. He wouldn't do the front windows even if I wanted him to. (which I didn't). More details here if you're interested and fancy a trip to the Black Country. Bostin : http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71896-roof-wrap-and-rear-window-tint/
  5. They say these things happen in three's. I make that three. Just be careful moving mirrors, near black cats and ladders.
  6. Is that why they're known as 'splitters'? I'll fetch me coat......
  7. Got mine from Tarmac Sportz, fits like a lip shaped glove. It's also made from flexible material (GRP/FRP?) so won't shatter like a fibreglass one if I hit anythjing such as a kerb.
  8. Hello and a belated Rich. Thanks for coming to Cosford, hopefully see you in a Zed soon. How's it going with the search and sale of the Civic?
  9. Can you put a meter on the new battery and see how much power/volts its got? Just thinking out loud but it may be that the battery had enough power to start your car when it was delivered, but this was used when you started your car and let it idle. My understanding is the car won't charge your battery on tickover, so you may of discharged the battery just enough to prevent it from having the power to start it again. Personally when starting the car yesterday, I'd have gone for a bit of a drive around to let the alternator put some juice back into your new battery. Just my thoughts though mate. I hope it's something simple.
  10. Hello and Upload your photo to Photobucket and copy the IMG link into your thread

    Cat back exhaust

I have a centre section if it helps: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76885-for-sale-350z-custom-exhaust-centre-section/
  12. I've got a spare set that I might let go. Let me give 'em a clean and I'll get back to you
  13. As Matt said, I think they're definitely worth a look. Not visited them myself but they always have a selection of Zeds to take a look at - they may even have 'the one'. I know a few that have bought their Zeds from them and have been more than happy with the car and service received. I'm sure Greg/MyFairlady will be along soon to invite you down
  14. Hand crafted vertical tonneau cover/boot divider. Looks cool, stops folk seeing what you've got in the boot, prevents shopping/latops smacking you on the back of the head, increases your desirability to the opposite sex (or the same if you prefer ) and gives an extra 50bhp at the rear wheels. Fact.
  15. If you can transfer the funds into my Nigerian bank account before you go to view the car, I promise to do an instant transfer into the sellers account if you wish to buy it. Honest.
  16. Yeah, the whole circuit was resurfaced and 10 laps were the most permitted amount before the tyres became unsafe. I think we saw symptons of the tyre degredation before riders came in - Each of the leaders almost lost it and kept themselves up on their knees. I think a wider window, as you said 4 laps would of sorted the men from the boys and shown who could ride with a cream crackered tyre. I think Marquez did well to keep it upright at race pace for that 'extra' lap. With 2 bikes set up for dry conditions, it would of been really interesting if it rained! - I think they got lucky there as it did start near the end of the race. Valencia is gonna be a bare knuckle fight. Bring it on
  17. Vehicles registered in the UK before March 2006 = £280 a year road tax After March 2006 = £490. As per my earlier post, if it was imported (and registered in the UK) in 2007, you'll face the higher tax.
  18. Also, the ad title states "Nissan 350Z 2007 (2003)". Although its a 2003 car, if it was imported into the UK in 2007, it will fall into the high tax band (as per post March 2006 cars).
  19. Initial thoughts are there are no interior shots so may not have leather (could be a basic JDM model) and may also not have Brembo's. There maybe good tread on the tyres, but if its only covered 7k in 6 years (poor Zed) check for cracking and perishing of the tyres. A decent set of 4 boots will cost you £600-£700+ Looks clean though.
