  1. For Christ sake it's only 15mm more poke than everyone with Rota's runs! Look at 15mm on a ruler, it's eff all. Once the car is dropped it'll look ace. Mine looked like crap with the Grids on until I dropped it too.
  2. Drop it about 30mm or so and those will tuck in just fine with an arch roll and look the dogs danglies mate
  3. Surely if someone can be proven to do it deliberately you can have them up for assault?
  4. Comes with double sided tape, otherwise it'll rattle all day. lol
  5. You're gonna have a big one unfortunately. Of course you could just change the oil, filter and air filter and it'll not explode, but going by the fact that the previous owner didn't service it for 2 years and 20k I would certainly be taking it to a good indy and getting almost everything done. Oil Oil filter Air filter Brake fluid Coolant Spark plugs Diff and gearbox oil is optional, but if you can afford it, do it.
  6. They are replacing both, even the one that is just chipped Ah Gotcha
  7. But what about factory fit options? On a Zed those are pretty slim. The GT pack is usually attached to the model on the V5, so you know about that, but what about Rays, Sat Nav, Alezan seats, Aluminium kick plates etc? Those may not add much value or even desirability to the thief, but on a Porsche or BMW, the factory fitted options list can be worth £20k and the length of your arm.
  8. Are they going to refurb the front that's chipped? The damage looks a little different than I imagined. I thought it was going to be just on the spokes, but it looks like the managed to **** up the rest of the rim too.
  9. These things are very handy for locking nuts (assuming they're small enough). We took a set off and put them back on with no damage whatsoever on a Focus the other week. http://pages.ebay.co...id=391007749349 Obviously they are also the reason why locking wheel nuts are useless on the basis that any crook can just buy one of these! For the removal of "damaged wheel nuts"... suuuuuuuure lol
  10. haha I'm sure Brillo will have the other off ya I hope they are easy to remove, because you have to get in there to remove the door card should the window motor pack up, or should I say, WHEN it packs up lol
  11. I'd say the average is between 6k and 8k a year over the life of most Zeds. Of course some may be higher or lower, or some may have been 12k+ per year early in their lives and have been a weekend toy the last few, doing only a few k a year, averaging it out.
  12. he ****ed up at the end of the day Yup, he made a mistake, but its a big company and shouldn't be making a mere worker fork out 2 weeks wages for it. i do agree with you but its kiwk fit they shaft the customers and the staff I was sitting trying to think of a way out of it for the staff, but he'll be given an ultimatum of pay for it himself either with his wages or his job.

  14. Good news, however it's @*!# that they're making him pay out of his own pocket.
  15. A few of those not he forum now, seem very well priced and not too bad a fit.
  16. Super seems to be about 7-8p dearer at the moment compared to the regular, probably just dragging its heels due to being less common.
  17. The early Caymans interior isn't great, just like the first couple generations of boxster and any 911 997 or earlier, but still many times better than a 350 in my opinion.
  18. Psst Will that's not cordless
  19. Only in the form of a washing machine oddly...
  20. My reasons is that after pulling apart the car numerous times to modify X, Y and Z and discovered various dirty little secrets that had been hidden, ultimately making me fall out of love with it a little. Brake discs only lasted 7k which meant I'd have to spend another £300 to replace them plus diagnosing and fixing the issue. Bushes all needed done and despite numerous times in the body shop, rust bubbles kept coming back at the back of the rear arches and the clutch was also on it's last legs. This was going to amount to way too much money for me to justify spending on a £6k car that would still be £6k when it was all done. It was time to move on and use what I have learnt to buy another car and start the process all over again. It was a great 2 1/2 years with the 350 and unfortunately I never got it finished, although most parts were here to be fitted. I do miss it sometimes, especially when I see another on the road, but it was the right thing to do. I may buy another Zed in the future, most likely a 370, only time will tell.
  21. Go get a KLEENEX and dry your eyes
  22. Servicing is expensive compared to the Zed, about double. £480 and £610 I think for minor and major, however, they only require servicing every 24 months to the Zed's 12 months which averages out about the same as the 350
  23. I like how so many snide members reside on this forum behind the scenes. There was no need for anyone to go crying to Ryan behind your back, surely if you had a problem with him then you'd sort it yourself.
  24. I had fitted them prior. Obviously not expecting this outcome! That was also a thought of mine, they are only held on by a 3m adhesive backing, so once taken off they probably will no longer stick. Are they pretty hard or can they bend a little? They're pretty bendy, I am betting I get the wheels back with the inserts missing, and then get told I would have to get some from the supplier as they could no do the refurb with them on. Well at least there is little chance of them being snapped then, however, look very closely at them and make sure they haven't scraped them or left any marks from removing them. If they have, they can pay for them. You should contact the supplier (Tarmac I assume) and see if he can get a quote for new inserts, then you'll know how much they owe you when you see if they're damaged or not.
