  1. Sounds good, at least you'll be able to pimp your ride
  2. A bit irrelevant if you ask me Rich, Nissan says at 7AT gearbox oil is lifetime use, doesn't need to be changed. James, any chance you have some OBD reader to check if there are any errors stored? A Consult III would be perfect. Has your car been mapped recently? If so, UpRev or EcuTek? Wasn't there a Boxster on Wheeler Dealers with a messed up gearbox that was completely repaired with £50 of fluid?
  3. The only reason I left them on this time was because they don't say a word about my JWT Popcharger... and they didn't say anything about the spacers last year. It's just suddenly become a problem as of now! That's why I am massively frustrated! I can't put a bodykit, a wing, even a splitter without the correct certificates or approvals! Absolute joke! They should have pulled you on the popcharger too then. It depends on the tester, one guy might not care about spacers, the next will. Safest option is to put the car back to standard for the test. I agree with what you're saying... it's just highly irritating that I get pinged for something so ridiculously minor! It's not like I strapped a twin turbo kit on the Zed and tried to get it through! haha.... next thing I know, they'll be pulling me on the fact that I changed the stock antenna for an RDX stubby antenna!!! Move to Belgium and commute 30 minutes to work?

  5. All UK cars have Brembos, it's possible someone or a dealer imported the car from new for some strange reason. Throw up a couple of photos for us to have a peek
  6. Sounds like the synchromesh to me.
  7. Although I'm sure this is frustrating and I would be too if I couldn't modify my car, but, you know the deal with aftermarket parts so I don't know why you didn't take the spacers off beforehand. I know my car won't pass with decats, so if I put it through MOT and it fails, I can hardly get angry about it.
  8. It's quite a soft plastic, so I trimmed it with a scalpel.
  9. These usually sell in pairs. Is there no chance for yours to be repaired?
  10. I'm interested to see how this pans out

    19" wheels

I personally think those wheels are too narrow. I wouldn't be going less than 9.5" on a 19.
  14. I'm not thinking specifically of your situation as you'll not have to much and I think the trigger point for customs and taxes are much higher if you're bringing stuff back from another country, rather than having them shipped, I'm just curious what that trigger point is and if anyone has encountered it.
  15. Amazing fitting, sounding and looking exhaust! I highly recommend them to anyone looking a new system. I'd have another in a heart beat if I didn't have the front end to paint shortly.

    Air Intake

I think the point of the snorkel in the 350 is to make cooler air available to the engine that hasn't passed through a hot radiator. There are air ducts you can buy and fit right in front of the snorkel to allow air a direct flow into the filter.
  17. I don't know mate, I just think it would be one of those incidents that they'd wriggle out of. Maybe one of resident brokers could chime in with a more educated opinion?
  18. What's the legalities of bringing stuff back and customs charges?
  19. Not sure I believe what they told you as I'm not convinced they'd even pay out in that situation. I was under the impression that it's because a criminal could break into your garage pretty much unnoticed and enter and Hotwire the car without anyone noticing, compared to someone with a clothes hanger down the window in the street.
  20. They'll work perfectly. You may have to file the guide tab off as a worst case scenario.
  21. Sure stick down 100k a year and it'll be free
  22. £280+VAT at the moment.
  23. Not for me. It looks ok on the S2k, but it has red calipers and seats, same with the Z3's that Alex mentioned, they had red seats also.
  24. If the stock exhaust is mind blowing, check for holes, because thats probably why it sounds so good
  25. Isn't this more for filthy diesels?
