  1. I am with you You cant argue opinion and if you like it thats all the matters but you say yourself, "some" members, which i would put my right nut on being most members, think its god awful, much the same as the havoc and gtr which is why i mentioned it in context, you never going to see why its disliked if you think it looks good. It was the same on the Rx7 forum when it came to Veilside kits, i wouldnt even say a majority, it was pretty much universally disliked and to be honest i dont think its any different on here, cant be coincidence its known as Failside, its just too fast and furious wanna be, at least the Havoc is different and the gtr, well imho the less said the better. None of the above is meant as criticism, its good we all like different stuff. I actually quite like the Veilside RX7's
  2. Of course a car with a body kit is going to attract more viewers than a standard one. If I went to a meet and there was a Havoc kit on display I'd certainly have a good look around it, it's still the most disgusting creation ever made.
  3. No, the first pair was £50 for trial and pictures, the price obviously went up after that, so £35 is a bargain!

Pretty set on the Megan spoiler. Car will be going in the Bodyshop soon to have the front bumper repaired and old spoiler removed and smoothed ready for my wrap in July so unsure whether to get the spoiler before or after the wrap lol Personally I'd be looking to have the wing fitted by the body shop when they are doing the rest.
  5. Heard of this problem before from HSDs, pathetic from them really, however their cheaper version are fine
  6. Did you fill it, then take the car for a drive and notice it leaking? If you did, it's probably not leaking. Water condenses on the outside of the unit and drips just behind the front nearside wheel, it freaks most new owners out
  7. If it has a Nismo kit, just leave it and get the stone hips sorted by spraying the front end, then get a clear protection wrap to prevent them from happening again. This will cost you less than buying that horrible Havok kit, never mind trying to fit it.

Theres a Dutch company that supplies them, but I can't remember what they're called. Google "MD62" and see if you can find them.
  9. Sorry, but in my opinion those 2 are the most repugnant kits available for the 350
  10. Whether I can lose the extra width via raising the car, or by arch rolling, or by camber. Cannot go any smaller sadly, not even by a single mm. 20mm spacer is nothing, I'm on 30mm as it is! Agreed, but I don't want to move to 19" wheels as it means another outlay on tyres as well as adding weight, even over the spacers. Buy M6 wheels then, they'll be lighter than the Rotas and throw the tyres on eBay
  11. Simple option I noticed when considering new wheels for the M6, the "perfect" wheel setup for the Zed is pretty much perfect for the M6, but of course 5x120. 19x9.5/10.5 et20.
  12. Including taxes and duty the one from Australia is £79 also, plus theres the handling fee from Royal mail/Parcel Force which is £11, making it £90. Of course there are ways to dodge the customs, such as marking the value down or declaring it as a return or customer sample, but these methods are all illegal. It may also slip under the radar by mistake and not get picked up, but the chances of this happening are much much less compared to a few years ago when people used to sneak in £2000 alloys without paying customs and taxes
  13. I imagine it should say in the description because even for threaded version, there are different sizes.
  14. Aye, or give Alex a shout ^^^
  15. Alternatively, get someone to thread whats left of the shaft?
  16. A Short shift kit will undoubtably be the cheapest way to sort it, unless you can find one from a breaker for cheap, but I guess most would want to keep it with the box. Have you considered finding a non threaded gear knob? I'm sure I've seen ones that have no threads and use grub screws to hold it firm.
  17. I don't understand, you're saying that his is the cheapest, because you can't find any cheaper, but also saying that it's still too expensive? As Colder said, Steve is selling them new for £85, this is a few quid (plus negotiations ) cheaper and it's mint. I have a feeling these are now discontinued and in high demand, so the price will only go up
  18. Link? The cheapest I see on eBay after a quick search is £64 from Australia, then you have to add around 25% + £10 for customs and taxes once it arrives.

Not a fan of EPR. I bought a Nismo V2 from them that was a horrible fit and the carbon canards had to be returned due to the @*!# quality. I personally will not buy any body parts from them again, but will happily purchase branded stuff as their customer service is fine. For that lip contacts Tarmac Sportz on here, Chris will sort you out
  20. You can buy a second harness to keep the steering wheel controls I have seen this, I was under the impression that whilst this didn't render the steering wheel controls useless it was the case that the answer and dial buttons did not work for the same purpose any longer, normally being used for a source change or similar. Would handsfree still use the built-in microphone or require one with the HU? Usually the phone functions won't work and the inbuilt mic will be useless, but your new HU should come with one.
  21. So much want! But I'm not paying £80 for a knob, despite the price being bang on
  22. I used this for the controller and reader, worked perfectly
  23. One of the best Spring sets available. Cost around £180 new and provide a 30mm as Jetpilot said.
