  1. As ZMANALEX said it is only four bolts holding the seat down. Just remove these and you will be able to see all of the connections. Makes much more sense than poking around blind.
  2. Hi guy's As per the title a couple weeks back i had a custom Y piece manufactured and fitted at Infinity exhausts in Bristol. I went for a custom Y piece as the flanges on my cat's didn't look to be in the best condition following years under the car and thousands of heat cycles so to save the cat's the flanges were cut off and the pipes welded directly. All was well until a few days later the EML came on. I've now got my hands on a basic OBD2 reader and the codes it's flashed up are: P1147 P1167 Both oxygen sensor codes. So my question to you wise bunch is have you ever seen o2 sensor codes coming up following the fitment of a Y piece? I'm going to take it back to look under the car and see if anything was damaged/dislodged on the sensors and i'm going to clear the code to see if it comes back but any experience anyone has with this would be useful Ta

    Used 350z DE HFC's

As per the title interested some HFC's for my 04 350z. Don't have a brand preference as long as they're in working order to pass a MOT.
  4. Ok cheers for the response. It is a shame the things are so expensive!! for something I can't really see adding value to the car.
  5. I'm looking at what the cheapest set of HFC's would be that will pass an MOT emission test so came across the Japspeed toyosport types on eBay and wondered if anyone has any experience with them particularly at MOT time??
  6. VLAD thank you sir! This worked after I swapped out my seats for some without the side airbag. The first time around it didn't so out the seats came again and in the bin went the scotch locks. Soldering in the resistors worked for me but maybe the scotch locks I bought were a bit crap!

    Rear subframe brace

What did you go with in the end? Looks like I'll be in the market for a new brace in the near future..
  8. Thanks for the response. I've checked and been reassured they have the airbag and heated function so I've gone with them! It's worked out cheaper and at this stage appears easier option. I must have tried to get quotes on the repair with 5 different trimmers over the last couple weeks and I only got one response with an actual quote which was more than both these seats... Either the trimmers must be booked out or just prefer a full re-trim for the $ doesn't seem to be much interest in a repair unfortunately.
  9. Cheers for the steer. I am in com's with hide n seat and waiting on a price so I can weigh up the options. Obviously having to post my seat away is going to mean the cars off the road for a bit as well as considering price etc so I'd still like to see if these seats would fit before I commit to something.
  10. Childish title... Small minds...me driving it will add to the number etc I have a well worn/torn drivers seat which needs sorting. I've been looking for a good condition replacement seat and found one but.. I currently have the black leather, heated, airbag etc in my 2004 GT. The new seat is also in black leather with the heated function etc but on the right side mine has two knobs but the potential new one only has one?? I believe the 'new' one is from a 2003 Does anyone know why this is and whether it will fit?? Cheers!
  11. Cheers for the heads up i'll dig out the trimmer
  12. I'd buy a pair if needs be. I am waiting on a quote for a repair weighing up both. I'm not sure which will work out cheaper or better. Why do you have a recommendation on a trimmer? Great got any pic's? and know what you'll be asking for it?
  13. 18 response's to a welcome post you are a friendly bunch! Cheers guy's I see the colour is akin to gang colours here. I've had a thing for the Azure blue z's from the first time seeing one about 10 or so years back!
  14. Hello!! Been without a car after a mishap with my BMW a few months back... I tried to last the summer just riding the motorbike but with a combination of British weather and an Azure Blue 350Z popping up locally with the right spec and miles a couple of days after looking at it i now have a Z on the drive Aware of how invaluable a decent forum can be here i am! There are a couple of bits need doing to her but that's something to keep me amused for a while. The first will be the drivers seat(torn!) and the exhaust (being a v6..) It's standard so i'm sure you've all seen a few in your time so I've only put the one pic up!
  15. Hi Guy's, Looking for a drivers seat for my 04 350Z to replace the current badly worn one. In black with the small airbag and heated function. Must be in good condition with no tears and ideally relatively unmarked as possible. Let me know if you have something that fits the bill Ben
