  1. Bit harsh. He's on Michillins now. He's on what?
  2. I like the idea of a place to come see what the roads are like so you can avoid speed bumps etc However, if this thread drags on no one is going to read through X number of pages in the off chance that a road they plan to use is listed. It needs a map with pins indicating speed bumps and dodgy roads
  3. Yea Canada's shite, I went there 20 years ago with my family. Did Calgary, Banff and Jasper, all ugly places full of nothing
  4. Right, firstly, WOW! SO much info coming from so many directions and it's just getting confusing for the guy. OP - What is your budget for your new alloys?
  5. I don't see the problems with what MCook did The car ticks over in 1st at near 10mph, so a tiny squirt gets up to 20 which is still insanely slow, not to mention he did it on his way to the back of the carpark where no one parks anyway…
  6. X brace? You mean the W brace surely?
  7. Not fan boys, we just like phones that will last the length of the contract without crashing every 5 minutes
  8. It's rusted to hell? So is it blowing? If it's not blowing just leave it
  9. iOBD2 does 0-60 or any speed variations you like. I'm pretty sure they do 1/4 mile too. But after the latest update the data is getting messed up somewhere and I'm idling at about 12000 RPM
  10. Do I spot a certain professional detailers bogging car?

    Tyre choice

What your budget? If its unlimited then certainly go for MPSS etc, but if you don't want to spend that sort of dough, may I suggest Kumho KU39's are pretty damn good, better than the Hankook Ventus V12's that I had before by quite some margin.
  12. I wouldn't hold your breath for the right colour, you'd be safer just buying any colour and getting it painted because its not likely to match anyway.
  13. Ahhh, it'll be interesting to hear it next time then with no blows or loose bolts without the silencer
  14. And also they are a pretty tight fit so there's little to no movement in the struts when fitted.
  15. I like the idea of these broker sites, however most don't accept your car as P/X so you have to sell that first and also being across the water all but one would require me to fly over and take the ferry back to Belfast, so there goes most of the savings unfortunately for me
  16. I know mate, its just as I was reading the thread I was thinking I would advise you to get a cat back because of the flexis, but then a post later I noticed you'd already bought the Cobra. Oh well, hopefully you can get the flexis sorted without having to fork out for a new y-pipe.
  17. If i'd have seen this earlier I'd have pushed you towards the Invidia or Ark. It's cat back so when your flexis go on the OEM (as they just have) you won't have to fork out for a Y-pipe at £250+ and it's also not too loud
  18. Ah, so that was the tinny noise the other week. It must have been just on about blowing and thats why it wasn't really loud. When I bought the car it was broken in the same place and cost the same £40 to get patched up
  19. I would think so. It probably your best bang for buck Y pipe for any zed infact, from what i've heard.
  20. If you look at the second photo in post number 104 on this thread you can see with the sun on them http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67486-stage-nine-zeditus-08-june-2014-small-updates/page__st__100

    Removing plenum

It's really easy, nothing to worry about. Touching the butterfly won't cause any harm Just undo all the nuts and remove the 3(?) hoses and you're good to go. Just be careful not to over torque the bolts back up when you're refitting, you could crack the plenum.
  22. BM's are carbon black so they have a transparent black coating
  23. Yea but we're not talking about sheds here, we're talking about £25k cars. No one invests the time and money into being able to steal these cars with the various pieces of high tech gadgets that are required nowadays, to thrash it around the roads and try to jump bridges, they're stolen to sell on.
  24. Good point about stolen recovered, the car is likely to be undamaged, so no reason not to buy at all. Could have been ragged around, over revved and generally just abused though whilst in the hands of the thieves. My mate got his Nova GTE back years ago after it was stolen ~ the kids that had it had been driving around the same lanes trying to get the car to jump over humped back bridges. The car was shagged afterwards even though body work wise it looked fine. Any car you buy could be over revved and abused, though. I think in the example you gave the car is easily stolen by any yob with a screw driver who knows where the hazard switch is, however modern cars are much harder to steal and are generally taken to sell on, not wreck.
