The simple answer is the same as a standard turbo setup other than the turbo location ,the need for a scavenge pump for the oil, and the need to run charge pipework from the turbo back to the inlet . it's more laggy than a standard system but generally has lower charge temperatures

personally I've only had the manly Mk2 gt turbo's as opposed to the ones that transform into swimming pools

My wife is a senior accountant within the nhs and I have to listen to her angry rants every evening when she gets home as she is extremely passionate about the nhs so from what little I take in, I know that sounds bad but I have had to listen to this for the last 20 years any way I digress from what I take in it's a case of bottlenecks caused by a lack of money for instance in a lot of cases the wards are there the beds are there but if you don't have the funding for the staff you can't put people in them ,if you don't have funding for the drugs to treat people then you can't treat them at the end of the day it's all about a lack of money

As to your title "Overly ambitious idea" , you need to start ignoring the people who say this to you it's perfectly feasible what this generally means is that they lack the imagination or the drive to try it themselves as for the measurements you need ,I found it easier to buy a second hand inlet which was very inexpensive and also great for mocking up ( I have just had a look and couldn't find any for sale but they do come up honest)

doing this isn't hard it's making it look good that's hard just use a suitably sized android tablet install torque pro and connect it to your OBD2 port you can then set up your own custom dashes

designing in CAD is one thing actually creating is where it get's hard you could 3D print that ok if you had a big enough printer and the right materials (which are available ) but from what I can see you couldn't cnc machine it, well not in one piece anyway lends itself more to welding I'd say.

So I haven't updated this project in a while not much to tell really, lots of sitting in front of my computer designing programming and then changing my mind and starting all over again The design is pretty much finalised and will be similar to the current tubular welded setup but it will be cnc machined and obviously use the bmw v10 throttle bodies instead if the triumph triple ones I've actually started making holders for the 3" x 15" square section ally that I will be using, I finished the first one tonight I have two more to make before I can start machining the actual manifold

I'm just on my way out in the Z to play hopefully I come back smiling not crying
