  1. Shame we have to sod about like this because of Photobucket I've actually edited my throttle body post it took hours but never mind it's done now. You know I think your picture quality has improved over time but seriously I'm impressed with the professional finish you guy's get with some expanding foam and fibreglass
  2. P**s all over the bike yes I really hate people who park on or across other peoples drives
  3. Too late I've already changed it and it's still not tuned properly yet so no full chat I'm afraid it takes a long time to tune it on the road especially with the crap roads around here
  4. download a decent media player like vlc make sure you get it from videolan.org it plays most things
  5. the system I have back on it now doesn't drone at all but just sounds a little too european too high pitched and raspy I might experiment a bit with a bigger resonators yea I know what you're thinking It's unlike me to experiment and mess with stuff.
  6. Yea I know but above 2-3000 rpm it's just so loud and it drones badly
  7. it's not that loud below about 2-3000 rpm above that it sounds like the world is coming to an end
  8. here you go Dan just for you. VID_20170831_161425(1).mp4
  9. No just to stop you whining like a girl
  10. if I remember I'll record it when I put it on the ramps that usually involves a bit of revving
  11. Sorry probably not going to happen , if I get home early tomorrow I'll be swapping it back over I've done it so many times it will only take an hour maybe an hour and a half
  12. Hmm maybe not , it sounds good until you really open it up then it's just embarrassingly loud so back to the other system again.
  13. I changed the exhaust yesterday to my dual hks replica but blanking off the balance pipe between each bank, sounds fantastic I removed this system originally as it was too loud but with the balance pipe blanked off I may be losing a few horsepower but it's much quieter with less rasp I will try to get a video/audio clip sorted this weekend but can't promise as I'm on standby till monday morning.
  14. yea it sounds good but not quite what i'm looking for I might try my dual HKS replica exhaust on it again with the H pipe blanked off
  15. just tried again much clearer but just sounds raspy on the recording much more than it actually does Voice_170824_5(1)(1).3gp Voice_170824_5(1).3gp I look forward to more abuse about my lack of audio/video skills
  16. couldn't agree more sounds ten times better in the flesh I'll take it somewhere quiet when I get the chance
  17. this is the best I could do lots of traffic noise I'm afraid VID_20170822_150744.mp4 VID_20170823_083851.mp4
  18. yea I'm thinking about a windows 10 tablet install at those prices I think I'll get the fiberglass out.
  19. Sorry for asking a dumb question I just clicked on the link that's a lot of money for a couple of bits of plastic.
  20. looks good so far, where did you get the plastic surround ?
  21. to be honest the heat is only an issue when in traffic and I don't really want to enclose it
  22. simple answer yes, hotter air is less dense therefore less oxygen I may consider venting the bonnet but I'm not too fussed really and for the record I'm always open to constructive criticism
  23. so the latest update is pretty minor but has made a huge difference if you look in the picture below you can probably make out the maf sensor cable tied to the loom next to the 2 rear air filters this was still connected because the maf sensor also contains the air inlet temperature sensor which is required for correct fueling but being where it is this was measuring engine bay temperature so I have now drilled a small hole in one of the velocity stacks and mounted a bead thermistor into it and spliced it into the loom so I'm now measuring the correct temperature and the MAF is no longer connected. so what's left to do ? top of the list is to get a decent audio/video clip posted before I get lynched. finish the strut brace. do something with the crankcase ventilation (not just a pipe hanging in the wheel arch). get it tuned properly on a rolling road. this project hasn't taken too long really and if I'd given up on the utec ecu sooner I could probably of shaved a month off but never mind it's nearly done. I've already decided my next project after I've tidied up my interior will probably be air ride suspension and no don't be silly of course I won't be buying it off the shelf
  24. I pretty much agree with what everyone has said better on mobile and being able to add pictures and video direct is a godsend but doesn't quite give me the instant overview of the old forum can't quite put my finger on it but I'm also spending less time here too maybe i just need to stop whining and get used to it No wait I am missing something where are the rest of the emoticons...
  25. It's a thin line between madness and genius sadly I'm on the mad side of the line as for any more wacky ideas I've been thinking about that recently and sadly I don't really have any (350 based anyway) once this particular project is finished so any suggestions are welcome
