A little/lot over priced. Nice car though, a friends got one. Another mate is selling his mint condition fn2 for 8k. '57 with 40k on the clock. Just puts things in to perspective. Having said that, there are quite a few good reasons to get an ep3 over an fn2 depending on the intentions. Looks tidy though!

Not that much. Supposed to be 17mm front, 14mm rear. I didn't want to go more than 20mm so they were perfect really

So the new stance which is exactly the look I was going for with the tein springs and eibach spacers. 4-wheel alignment done, along with nitrogen in the tyres as it's a pain to keep topping up with this reduction in temperature every time I come back (rude not to for £4.80 plus unlimited top ups!). The tein springs are brilliant, a slightly harder ride but more for looks. I plan to put eibach anti roll bars on at some point down the line with poly bushes so should help keep everything nice and firm and without dropping the car too much. Pic of the engine bay. Nothing special going on yet. Just a plenum spacer and AEM short ram. Plan to do something with the top plenum also. And of course the bonnet dampers thanks to I4N. For the back end, I've just done the wiper delete which looks the dogs nackers for a cheap mod Just need to restore some shine in to the headlights at some point, but or now, she's back under the cover until next time.

Ah cool at least it stops ok. Pads come in pairs, and perhaps they put two inboards on one caliper and two outboards on the other caliper? Just strange that it was only the one side.

Ummmm... Any after market pads made for a car should be a direct fitment without any chopping of pads! If I knew a garage had done that to my pads, I would not be driving the car. I'm not quite sure of what you meant by "couldn't turn the wheel on that side"? Edit: re read and makes sense. The pads seized on the disc. They are either 1) the wrong pads 2) the wrong thickness disc Possibility that the calipers weren't cleaned properly but even if that was the case, the piston would wind back with the pressure. Sounds like a bit of a badge job, and would take it back immediately Was it just the one side that they grinded?

This is being complicated far too much. You can afford what you want to afford (within reason). Depends where you priorities are. I could go out tomorrow and spank dollar on a gtr, no problem on finance. But I don't because I like money in the bank, investments and a few holidays a year. Everyone's priorities are different, if you get a finance package you know how much deposit and you know how much it will cost each month and for how long. Only you know your own financial situation.
