  1. Www.google.com comes up with this. Looks like part comes from states. I highly doubt a uk retailer will import it due to the demand... I'm sure some further google digging and emails will give you an idea of the true cost to get it to the UK http://www.bodykits.com/Extreme-Dimensions/Front-Bumper/Nissan-350Z-Extreme-Dimensions-Fiberglass-DB7-Style-Front-Bumper-_-105387/818427/
  2. No idea where you would find one of these. Pretty unique I'd say! But if you like it, that's all that counts!!
  3. He wasn't a spotty teenager on work experience was he?
  4. Having said that, you would only expect a maximum of 5% difference anyway so could well be the sender back pedalled a bit after reading it properly, whoops!
  5. To reiterate, with the innacuracy of the gauge along with the density change, I wouldn't worry too much if your car is running ok
  6. Gauge is not overly accurate anyway. But with the colder weather you will find that fuel is colder, which means of a higher density, which means you can't get as much in litre wise. Putting it relatively simply anyway
  7. That's a good price on labour!!
  8. Shouldn't do, but as a precaution I would definitely disconnect it!
  9. I don't have a grotty wheel, but pm sent As for the steering wheel it's easy. Just make sure you disconnect battery before hand
  10. He does say 1-2 weeks though. He did a great job, and transforms the car in terms of feel
  11. One week from the day i sent to get done, a further 1 day for delivery. I wasn't using the car and had a spare steering wheel anyway. You thinking for your 370?
  12. Personally I would go all azure, but it's your car so go with what you prefer! Also.... Wiper Delete
  13. Steering wheel fitted, I have a spare wheel that will go on the for sale section soon if anyone needs one
  14. I went for the subtle change with black stitching. Just feels so much nicer! Top job
  15. Wheel back, fitting tomorrow! Superb job, very happy!
  16. I'd happily help you out, but in Birmingham... Don't think it would be economically viable
  17. If it damages the pistons you will know about it, don't worry! In the meantime, take it easy on the engine until you get the problem diagnosed! Just out of interest, did it cut out after going through a big puddle and the start up and go in to limp mode? I found out, one rainy and dark night that zeds don't swim too well!
  18. Dude, take note of what everyone is saying on here. We are only trying to save you wasting money. The last thing you want is to be paying labour for taking the engine apart.. It is not a straight forward job. You need to rule out absolutely EVERYTHING before going down the timing chain route. First of all what codes was the reader bringing up? Were these codes sprung after a reset? It is so rare for the timing chains to go on the zed. I, personally would be getting a second and a third opinion and most certainly not taking the opinion of one person as gospel. Even take it to a nissan stealer. They may charge you a few quid to plug your car in to their machine, but it will be money well spent. We are only trying to help and save your bank balance
  19. Was this the same mechanic?
  20. If they know what they are doing, it will not take 3 hours. Electrically wise, you don't have to be an electrician, just know how to plug on set of wires to another. It is a fiddly job, but not difficult. The only complication lies in lining the unit up. Bit of trail and error. I'm sure there is a guide on here that will show you what is involved.
  21. You're probably best going to trading for sale/swap section
  22. no mate, wasn't an evo. The rear ends are completely different
