  1. Yes, i kind of finished the run sideways! A certain part of my anatomy was clenched
  2. +1 ....and can anyone have a go or do you need a special licence + roll cage/fire extinguishers etc?? Your car was definitely the nicest looking road car there then from the pictures btw. Thanks chaps. No its not that expensive for the events(£75 to £100) per event, but you do need a National B speed licence from the MSA and join a club like the BARC which will cost around £150 per year.I have a A licence which you can upgrade to after competing in 4 events which will allow you to enter some of bigger events such as Prescott,Brighton Speed Trials etc. In road going classes all you need is a helmet, suit, gloves(boots optional),race numbers, yellow tape on the negative battery terminal,a sticker on your ignition switch which says "turn off" and a timing strut which is fixed to the front of your car to break the timing beam at the start and finish line. Modification wise you cannot change change the silhouette of the car so no BGWings and body kits.no slick tyres and you cannot strip the car out of all the interior. Also the car must have tax.mot and insurance.
  3. Hi Guys. I have a fairly busy calendar this year so i thought i might post a few pictures and a short in car video clip from each event throughout the coming months. The first outing was last weekend at the Clay Pidgeon Raceway last sunday which is a well known Go Cart circuit near Dorchester. I know it might sound daft racing a car round such a small track(only snatch 3rd gear briefly for a few seconds) but as you can see from the video its one hell of a lot of fun! Got second place in road going class.
  4. So sorry Ian. Lost my Dad a few years ago from cancer so feel your loss. Hope to catch up soon.
  5. Welcome along chap The two guys with the green and ginger cars get us all together once in a while
  6. Awesome Andy, a cracking start to your sprints! How well do you normally do out of interest? Normally outside the top three as am generally the only rear wheeler. No matter how much power you have and how hard you try with a big heavy rear wheel drive car traction is always your enemy against the rally cars. Got many comments about how good the car looks and sounds can't have everything........... Have got some video which I will post.
  7. Competed in my first sprint of the season yesterday and got second place at Clay Pigeon raceway which I have to say is all down to the new brakes. It's really hard to to get your head round the fact that you can go so much faster round a circuit if you can slow down much quicker than your opponents. Lol
  8. Glad to see your back doing what you love and do best in the engine build room!
  9. Car looks so much better. You will get used to your new toilet roll holder
  10. Thanks to all of you for your votes and kind comments. Long live zeditus!!!
  11. So sorry to hear this Ian. Fingers crossed for your Dad
  12. Hi Ian. Can you stick me down for one with a silver Z logo please. Regards Andy
  13. You kept this quiet the other weekend! IMO I think the GTR sounds like the fantasy car to own but as a compulsive modder you will get Itchy feet with it. You need seriously deep pockets to go down that route, ask Jamie Price or the guys at Knight Racer how much they have spent on their cars. Wouldn't want to be in your head right now! Lol. Good luck mate.
  14. http://www.350z-uk.c...61-tyre-quotes/ Thanks for that mate. Hoping for a speedy recovery
