  1. I genuinely hope that the overly busy design was intentional to demonstrate what is possible rather than because anyone thought it looks good. But then some people like the the looks of the Fiat Multipla, so who knows....
  2. Well it's the taking part that counts. Apparently.
  3. Not only where you're going wrong though....
  4. Just a word of caution when buying from eBay; stick to trusted sellers. There are plenty of people of eBay selling bottles of random liquid as detailing products, or who have decanted full size products at home with complete disregard for what they're handling/repackaging so you're likely to get something completely different to what you're expecting. That said, there seems to be a far greater offering of samples direct from the manufacturers these days. I can remember a time when it was only a specific selection of FinishKare and Dodo Juice "panel pots".
  5. Everyone is so terribly excited by the Supra that the Supra thread has more posts about BMW’s on it!
  6. Trust me, you're not! Their glass cleaner is quite possibly the single most useless product I've ever used. Except Slickrims. It's on par with Rain-X, that's just how bad it is! However back on topic, I've not tried this particular box but I was a huge fan of Waxybox when they were doing this. I've seen a lot of these pop up since Waxybox took off and very few of them have lasted beyond a few months - the boxes are only going to be as good as the brands on board regularly. It is a good way of trying different products for yourself if they've got enough variety on offer though.
  7. I don’t think Lewis has ever intentionally driven into other people though. Multiple times. Let alone multiple times this season! Granted, Hamilton can sulk like the best of them when it’s not going his way, but Vettel is on a whole different level of impetuousness. I could even tolerate his sulking and his whining to a degree early on, but his serial sulking and whining about other people when it’s actually him at fault is too much. That said, I did find slightly endearing when he congratulated Hamilton in Mexico. More of that between his childish outbursts and I may revert back to tolerating the sulking again. But yes, Hamilton is a knob away from the circuits, I’ll concede that much.
  8. It isn't less risk though, not to insurance underwriters. Less risk of crashing, granted, but the algorithms they use will state there's a greater risk of theft. More so if it's parked up on a driveway outside the registered address - i.e. where thieves will know where the car is located and the house that contain the keys. Similar rationale for being parked in a garage, except with the additional risk of the thieves having the privacy to not be disturbed by passers by if they're in a garage. [underwriter logic; everything is higher risk!]
  9. If (only if!) Admiral do cancel policies when SORN (and knowing Admiral I wouldn’t be surprised to find out this was the case despite their T&C’s) then the first thing they’ll do in the event of a claim is spend the 30seconds it takes to check tax as a matter of course.
  10. That^^^^. His childish sulking numerous times has made me glad he lost this championship. If and when he grows up a little bit I might warm to him again but he’s fallen into the Ferrari mentality of entitlement just because he is who he is, driving the car that he is driving and not because he’s actually good enough! I also don’t like Ferrari at all, so the longer they fail to win anything the better.
  11. Really? I’m delighted about Vettel with the way he’s driven this year.
  12. 2 minute job - 1 bolt & unclip. Plenty of more detailed guides on here if you search.
  13. Even if it is immaculate, it'll still cause some level of damage to the paint regardless.
  14. Considering McLaren have never run this thing at speed, that extra "9 mph" is the theoretical lowest top speed (if that makes any sense to anyone else) it'll achieve. They've designed it to reach at leastleast 250mph. Considering the pre-production F1 was designed to do a mere 210mph it's fair to assume that it'll be more than that extra 9 mph. The door camera legality is also overcome by the monitors in the cabin being in a fixed position. Apparently that meets the legal requirement (although I will caveat that with them not saying which country's laws they meet!). The wheel caps are removable as well by the way. Although McLaren do state that they are "very much functional", so maybe don't expect too much more than that extra 9 mph after all if you do take the caps off yours.
  15. Exactly what I thought too actually, Col.
  16. IPA wipedown or glass cleaner will do (if it's textured plastic, use a brush rather than a cloth). Or, as Stu suggests, a pencil eraser will shift it if you can get into the texture with it. I'd recommend peanut oil rather than peanut butter (less likely to leave different marks) but either will work.
  17. It was the “only” that I was objecting to. And I agree it’s an improvement on the swirls, but like I said before you’ll never eliminate them entirely.
  18. No, no it doesn't. It depends on what you mean by swirls. Technically you'll avoid causing the spiderwebbing traditionally thought of as "swirls", but the term actually refers to micro-marring a lot of the time these days, which you won't avoid. It's just that your marring will all be in straight(ish) lines.
  19. Yeah, but clicking on links is sooooooooooooooo hard work....
