  1. The box is covered in Nismo tyre rubber that has been scraped off a race track? Haha, brilliant.
  2. Snow socks are like umbrellas. Take them with you and the weather will be dry and bright!
  3. I'm with Livingstones Warman this year. They were a good couple of hundred pound cheaper then the next best quote.
  4. Cheers Dalos I'll try those first. How much did you pay for the respray? I could do with the front end chips sorted too. I might try and get it all done at once and turn it into something positive! Let's just say I was very happy with the job I got for the price I paid. I also got a a few other little chips at the same time (like when I ever so slightly caught the edge of the fuel filler with the pump nozzle!!, grrr). The best thing to do is pop over and ask for a few quotes. Drop my name in (Dale) and the 'ZClub' forum and I'm sure he'll look after you.
  5. For the repair option take the car down to Graham at 'Car And Bike Magic' in Sunderland and get a quote from them. They did a full frontal respray on mine to get rid of the stone chips and have done jobs for other Zed owners on here too.
  6. It reminds me of this one, which has probably already been posted at some point as its an old one. Funny though, in a sadistic 'serves them right' kind of way.
  7. I always drive with my dipped headlights on regardless of what time it is or what the weather is like. Even on a bright day, if the sun gets into another drivers eyes their vision will be impaired and they may not see you.
  8. I always park at the back of supermarket car parks, except for one time I stuck it close to the door (very much like the OP's pic) as I was going to be sitting in it programming my new Bluetooth adaptor while the missus ran in to the store to pick up a few essentials. Honestly, I must have only been sat there three minutes and I got hit once by the door from one woman's car, nearly hit again by another woman who saw me sitting there but nearly got caught out by her 'springy' door hinge, and I also got a foul mouthful from a charva scumbag couple when they saw me looking at them and their huge brood struggling out of their sh1tbox that had pulled up to my right. "Don't worry, we'll not hit your effin car. It's sh!t anyway" I seem to recall they said. I immediately moved to my usual spot.
  9. I'm glad she's going to a good home, but it'll be a sad day for me when she goes. At least I get the chance to have a bit of quality time with her this week before you pick her up. And no, I'm not a mechaphile before anyone asks!
  10. Hi Jeff, mine is for sale. I've only advertised it on the Zclub website so far, you can follow this link to see it http://zclub.net/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4618&title=05-nissan-350z-azure-gt&cat=1 If it fits what you're after and you need any more pics or info then let me know. Dale
  11. If these expensive cars are assumed stolen to order and destined for Europe (so not recovered), then how does anyone know that a key was used to get into it them not a dirty big screwdriver?
  12. A big thank you to Martin and to Liz for a fabulous weekend, we both had a great time, again. We will certainly be marking the LakeZ event on next years calendar before anything else. I didn't take many pictures at all, but although a little blurry, here is a caption competition for you all. Sorry Phil, it just had to be posted up
  13. Congratulations, and I'm not surprised by your "". Yep, I'd recommend Falcon. They've done the last few services on mine and will be doing the next. Finding something to do in Middlesbrough while they have it is difficult though
  14. What's your budget? Mine is "up for sale" (the missus isn't happy with my lack of effort selling it :worry:), and I'm in Newcastle. It's an '05 Azure GT with now 46k on the clock. I'm looking for around £8k. http://zclub.net/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4618&title=05-nissan-350z-azure-gt&cat=1
  15. Top tip. Avoid parking on a steep incline as you really need the handbrake off.
  16. A pic from when I was on holiday at the Lakes. I hadn't noticed that a bird had crapped on it before I took the picture, but never mind
  17. There should be some older Zeds there at least. All going well, this 240z will be on the grid.
  18. Sorry to hear that mate; as someone said, it seems to be happening more and more. - If I take the Zed to a car park I'll park as far away from the store as possible (far enough I should really take my walking boots, lol). - I will only park at an edge so there can only be one other car to side of me (reduces the chance of being touched by half). - I will park as close to that edge as possible, be it a curb or a wall, or if its the last bay I will cross the line, all to maximise the distance to the next car. - If I have to park next to another car I will take a good look at it for clues of its driver. Does it have any baby or young child paraphernalia? They will probably need to open the doors quite wide and be knocking it into the side of mine while they struggle with belts and stuff! - Is the car a shed? Is it dented already? Does it look like it hasn't been cleaned for ages? Is the inside a mess? All signs the driver doesn't give a monkeys. - I will try and only park next to a car that has its passenger door at the side of the bay I will be parking in. - I will try and only park next to a five door car as the doors are much shorter. I should really buy myself a shed!
  19. I hate, "can you borrow me this or that?" Or, "can you learn me to do this or that?"
