Looking to get some HFCs fitted. Have had a price for new Berks and waiting on price for new Kinetix (does anyone know how much). Just checking on here first in case anyone has anything they are getting rid of.

Yeah I am just waiting on a response. To be honest, I was hoping a forum member would have an old set available so I could get cheapest price possible. All traders are going to have to put a mark up on them to make their money.

Yes you should do. Be warned though, I had loads of issues when I called about fitting mine as a couple of companies, Esure and Admiral, refused to cover me for them.

Hi, I thinking of getting myself a set of used rays with the intention of having them refurbished in a different colour. I blame Wasso!! Have seen a few sets (or individual wheels) ranging from £30 - £300 per wheel, so my question is what should I be paying for a used set that is need of a little tlc?

At most of those prices the only thing I would be picking up is my chin off the floor!!

Sorry Ricey Bear in mind I have only seen clips on youtube but I thought they sounded a little raspy and had a higher tone to them than the likes of Miltex or Nismo. I have thought about custom but heard few horror stories from a few people which has worried me slightly. Also would like to be able to swap back to stock when I come to sell the car and not sure I will get a decent return on a custom vs a branded one.

I certainly do. Not in any rush to get anything done too quickly as do want to have a listen to a few set ups before I take the plunge in a month or 2.

Will have a look into a pop charger as an option. Miltek seems to be ticking all of the boxes, anyone know where I can get hold of one for the best price. Have found a system on Ebay for £886 that the company is willing to fit for free (if I take the car to Wrexham - 75 miles away) which appears to be the best deal so far. Others seem to be similar price but without fitting, which I have been advised would be anything from £60 - £100.

Hi, I think you are right on all counts. The cheapest I have seen the Miltek is £880.

Hi all, As some of you know, front OEM Y section is damaged and I am in the process of getting a used one swapped over. This really is just a temporary measure as the exhaust is looking pretty shabby all round and I am considering my options with an aftermarket exhaust. I want a full cat back system but don't have a massive amount of money to spend. Looked at the scorpion but don't like the sound very much, although it looks pretty nice. Thought I had found what I want in the Blueflame but the more I listen to the clips I have found the more I am going off it. Quite like the look, and sound of the miltek but really stretching the budget (unless someone knows where I can get one cheap or used ) I am not looking for anything loud, but I would like it to sound a little sporty under higher revs. Running OEM cats and will need to be like this for a while, any suggestions?

As Wasso said, it's the other half's birthday this Sunday and me going out for the day in the car is not going to go down to well so I am going to have to sit this one out. I will make sure I get to the next one. Anyone going to Donnington on 10th? Carlton and I are talking about going down so may meet a few of you then.
