  1. I believe Captain has one, sure he will give you some feedback
  2. Welcome mate, make sure you get some pics up when you get it. I am from Sutton Coldfield so not a million miles away.
  3. I used them to recently, managed to get 2 new bridgestones with circa 5mm of tread for £95
  4. Yeah, might wait and see if anyone bids. There is a car being broken on there aswell. Emailed the guy but the car was in an accident and airbags have gone off.
  5. I had seen them but was a bit concerned that he has only put one seat in the picture
  6. Sounds good, Where would I need to go to have that done?
  7. Mmmmm could be an option. How much does a re trim cost?
  8. Sorry, maybe wasn't clear, I don't actually have leather seats at the moment, just thinking of an upgrade
  9. Is the jacking point on the diff the cylinder shaped thing that sticks out or is it just any point on the diff?
  10. here you go http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... gines.html
  11. I have read a fair bit on this recently. In general, the suggestion was to use some sort of plastic bag to cover air intake and minimise the risk of any water getting in. Foil loosley wrapped around any electrical connectors obviously to stop water getting in. Use an engine De greaser sprayed over engine bay and if needed worked in with a brush. Followed by a good hose off. You can then use your "normal" products such as wax on the bodywork and trim cleaner on plastics. Quite a few guides on Youtube although some just spray the crap out of it with a pressure washer which seems a bit much for me.
  12. Hi, Just wondering how much I should expect to pay for a set of leather seats to replace my standard canvass ones. Would obviously want them to be in good condition.
  13. Hi, I thought the 114.3 measurement was for the hub. What does that mean then? The standard wheels are 8J's front and back I believe so I assumed that I could put the same size tyres on all around. Have I go that wrong?
  14. Excellent. If they clear the brembo's, I can't see there being an issue with what is on the Rav4
  15. Hi, I have recently swapped my standard alloys for Rays leaving the old ones looking lonely in the garage. The other half has a Rav4 with 16 inch rims on that are in a very bad state. Both front tyres on her car are ready for a change and being the size they are generally cost a fair bit anyway. So I had a thought I have checked and it appears that both the Z and the RAV 4 have the same fitting 114.3?? and 5 bolts so was just wondering whether the Nissan wheels could be put onto the Rav 4 (improving the look in my opinion). If this is possible, what size tyres would I need to put on to keep speedo accurate? The 16s currently fitted have 215/70/16. I suspect that the ride will be a little firmer but can anyone envisage any other problems.
  16. Because of the method used, they couldn't do caps without wiping out all of the detail of the Nissan / Z logo. Now that I have ordered the Z caps, I have popped the Z off first for painting. As for lowering, yes, I tend to agree, looks like it rides higher now than with the standard wheels (obviously an illusion) As for spacers, you have me worried cause I have 20mm front and 25mm fitted already.
  17. Ok, so I gave it about a week. Centre caps pissing me off. Ordered some of the Z ones that turned up yesterday and handed them over to the wheelspecialists today (after removing the Z) to have them done in the same smoked chrome. They even agreed to do them for no additional charge. Hopefully collect them Saturday so will get the pictures up.
  18. Just asked the seller to send me some pics. I can confim that they are definately the standard ones and yes, they have been sprayed silver. lol
  19. I agree he has put the correct description in the title but to be fair he should really include a picture that matches the description. Maybe not a scam but certainly misleading.
  20. Hi, did make sure I put copper grease on but have to confess I didn't have a major clean up of the caliper (was so relieved to have just gor the pad out!). Will have a look over the weekend.
