  1. Just found this site who have quoted £50 per rim. Anyone heard of them? http://www.alloywheelsrepair.com/gallery.php
  2. Purchased a set of Rays from a forum member (very good price by the way) and would like to have them refurbed so that I can have them in my colour of choice. Have done an online quote with the wheel specialists but all in they are looking for £340. Have looked at a few other companies and many seem to offer cheaper but not sure whether the quality would be as good. Does anyone know of any other companies around Birmingham / West Midlands that offer a good service closer to the £250 mark?
  3. Hi, Harvez, CMCK13 got in there first I am afraid. I have responded to the pm sent and am awaiting confirmation. f he doesn't come back to me, I will let you know.

  5. Hi Marzman, Have sent you a PM. Got your message but unfortunately, I have plans now. Hopefully Carlton will take the ticket from you.
  6. Where did you find them and how much they going for?
  7. Got mine from CS in the end.
  8. I have had a couple of people mention £250, just waiting on further info. Alex offered £400 for a used set
  9. Hi Neil. Really depends on condition of the wheels. Had a couple of people contact me but waiting on further info and photo's. Traders have advised £700 ish for a quality set but hoping to get a set all in for around £500 max including refurb if required (which I can get for around £250).
  10. Still hoping someone has a set
  11. What about Toyo T1-Rs, many seem to rate them
  12. Gentlemen!!! What are you trying to do to me? and my Bank Balance!!
  13. There are a few things: Add the Mrs as a named driver Park your car on the street overnight (actually £80 cheaper than in my garage) Move house to an even better area Swap your job (or work for an insurance company) Buy a fiesta 1.2
  14. I understand what you are saying but would rather just make the change and have done with it. Swapping things back and forward to make sure I pass an MOT is just unnecessary hassle IMO. Ideally would be good to create a few extra bhp but like you say on a NA it is gonna be nowehere near what you are talking, maybe 5 or 6 at best which I doubt I would even notice. If the HFCs are not going to get me through an MOT I will stick with the cats and may get a better Y pipe to get some sound and flow improvements.
  15. If they are willing to cover you and you are happy with the amount then your laughing.
  16. Not sure about the 370 but I am told that the ECU on the 350 cancels out any gain so when I swap my exhaust I was going to tell the insurance that there would be no bhp gains until I decided on whether to get uprev. I would play it down a little anyway and maybe just play dumb, give them the name of the system but you don't know of the gains.
  17. I had to cancel my Esure insurance because they wouldn't cover spacers! I don't think you will have a problem with the exhaust to be fair. They may want to charge you a little more than some of the others but doubt they will refuse. Admiral, Elephant, Sky are other options if you do have to change
  18. Wondered when you would pop up Wasso. £495 though, plus decats or HFCs!!
  19. Seems to me like these HFCs aren'y doing what they are supposed to be doing. May aswell go decat and save funds if it aint going to pass the MOT.
  20. That's a bit worrying, I thought that there would be no problem passing the MOT with these, maybe they are broke. Would the fact that the car is SC have any impact on the emsissions?
