  1. I'm in Sutton Coldfield West Midlands, anyone know the nearest place for me to enquire about an ECU remap?
  2. LOL! Was something that crossed my mind but imagine the mess when I floor it. Not after massive gains but a little here and there all adds up and if I can push close to the 300 mark I will be more than happy. Quite like the sound of just improved driving and feel to be honest. I'm in West Midlands, anyone know the nearest place for me to enquire?
  3. Oh yeah, I have read your post and registered my interest. So where can I get an uprev done, and what is this likely to give me on an otherwise stock model (have a K&N filter and will have your airbox once done). Noticed the Abbey post was around £2K for the full package being offered which is a little too much at the moment.
  4. Forgive my ignorance but what is a "velocity stack"? Also, I thought a uprev reflash was over a grand for relatively small gains.
  5. Ok, so I have done plenty of searching on here but can't get a definative answer to my question. I am thinking of making some modifications to the Z with the aim of getting a little more power. I have looked at 06 airboxes, performance filters, exhaust systems, plenum spacers etc. There seems to be mixed views around what these types of mods will actually do, with many saying the ECU will just cancel them out. Is this the case for all of the above mods or are there some gains to be made? I am not looking to spend thousands on TT and SC mods. Is there anything under a Grand or so that can squeeze a few extra horses out?
  6. Hi Maxi, Someone else beat you to it I am afraid and I have agreed to buy that one. Thanks for coming back with the offer greatly appreciated. Maybe someone else on here will take you up onb the offer.
  7. Oh, I see. Looking for something bigger really, more of a boot organiser
  8. As per the title, looking to get my phone hooked up and require the bluetooth adaptor. Anyone have one for sale?
  9. They tend to go for around £60 - £70. From where?
  10. Apologies, found a guide on this now so all sorted. Is £92 a fair price or can I get one cheaper elsewhere?
  11. Hi all, Want to be able to use my phone in the car. Steering wheel has telephone control on it but no idea how it all connects / works etc. Have seen the following adaptors on Ebay but if I am honest, have no idea where this would connect to. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350z-Bluet ... 4a9f1029a1 Can anyone help?
  12. Oh no! conflicting views. I will play it safe.
  13. Hi all, Just after a bit of advice. Got myself some Ferodo DS Performance pads front and rear and going to attempt to do the replacement myself this weekend. I have read through the guide on here and am pretty confident that I can amange this. My question is, after fitting the first set do I climb in the car and depress the peddle a couple of times or do I wait until I have done them all before I do that? With pushing calipers back to insert the pads I wondered if doing them all before hitting the peddle I may have more chance of pushing brake fluid out over the engine bay. Also when doing the rear, do I leave the handbrake off? Any advice appreciated.
  14. Spotted at 4.55pm heading towards Birmingham City Centre - Sunset 350z just a couple of cars behind you.

  16. I would say that counts as your first mod and looks pretty good too. So what's next?
  17. Welcome. Love the wheels on that car, anyone know what they are?
  18. There isn't really any noticeable difference in terms of handling, it is more about the looks. I spent a fair while researching whether there had been issues after they had been fitted but I didn't find anything that stopped me going ahead and getting them. As for fitting, it depends what type of spacers you get and what size. I bought Eibach hubcentric ones that you bolt to the hub and then bolt your wheel to the spacer. Very easy to do, 15 minute job and all sorted. Other types require replacement for longer bolts. If you contact CS or Zmanalex they will be able to supply what you need. Love the look of mine now, just need to get some photo's on here.
