  3. Thanks AK350Z Was so, sold the car in April mate. Had a few occasions when I could really have done with getting the here of us in the car and had to pick up the little one a bit more so had little choice really. Part ex for a BMW. Nowhere near as much fun but saving a bomb on running costs and can get everyone in comfortably. Shame I couldn't afford to run 2 cars Hope your keeping well.

  6. It doesn't make much sense. How long have you been driving? Any accidents or claims leading up to the start of your 3 years claim free driving? Any points for speeding etc? Annual mileage?
  7. I can't see how you past car history makes any difference, no one has ever asked me what my last car was. +1 with a comparison website - Go Compare, compare the market etc etc
  8. I agree, had a right nightmare!! Lol thanks mate, I am pleased with them, they look on yours to.
  9. Hate to say it but not only did I copy your wheels, I also bought the Z caps and had them done swell!! Lol Looks like your caps came out similar to mine in a slightly lighter shade.
  10. It's perfectly natural mate - don't worry Don't get me started!!
  11. Looks like I am back under the car again then. Have no idea what everything is called so will look for differences and post pics of any dodgy looking pieces for some guidance.
  12. Handbrake was on so will try measuring again in the way you have suggested to see if I get any different figures. The car has done 60k and I expect that springs have never been changed. I know you was joking but it did cross my mind that the majority of time the car will have the weight of the driver only on it. Over time could that affect the sag of the springs?
  13. Wouldn't there need to be 2 broken springs as both front and rear is lower by the same amount to the opposite side.
  14. Hi all, I am currently considering my options around lowering the car a little and decided to see what the current gap between wheel and arch was to get some idea of my options. On measuring everything, I have discovered that my car is a little lop sided with the passenger side sitting around 5mm higher than the driver side. I have made sure the car is level and taken several measurements but there is a clear difference. I assume this is not usual and have had a bit of a knock on the rear driver side when going over speed bumps since I bought the car. Is this likely to be just the springs sagging more on the driver side so would be resolved by changing the springs all around or am I looking at a bigger issue?
  15. Not heard of them but noticed them when I was looking for a set. Cheapest I found them were here: http://www.camskill.co.uk/m14b218s1749p ... xcl_Cabrio
  16. I have a set of stock wheels but no tyres on them
  17. LOL Was trying to do things on the cheap, spacers and lowering may be going a bit far for the Mrs.
  18. Have you seen these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
  19. ???? Why would I wreck the Z rims? It's not that they have been curbed or anything, the Toyota ones have basically just bubbled and corroded to the point that the front wheels have little paint on them and just look a mess.
