  1. Yeah, I had read a few post around the issue but not sure whether this is the case. I would have thought that if it was purely down to this that the problem would have started shortly after the re fit but it must have been around 6 weeks ago that I changed them and only heard this noise this week but everyday when I get to work. I did have some problems getting the old disc out of the caliper on the same side as it was wedged in despite getting the piston back fully. All of the others just slid out with minimal effort.
  2. Hi, looking from some guidance please. For the last couple of days, I have noticed a rather load crunch/ crack sound from DSR when I put the car in reverse after driving to work. I don't get any problems when I first start the car and reverse her off the drive but after 30 minutes of driving, when I get to work and reverse into a space the noise appears (altmost like I have just run over something). It is a one off sound that doesn't continue once the car is moved. I have 25mm spacers on the back and recently had wheels refurbed so need to check that they are all torqued correctly. I changed brake pads to Ferodo a few weeks ago also and heard that the reas can move around (don't know if this makes a sound). Always had a bit of a clunking from same side when on bumpy roads but nothing like this. Any ideas?
  3. Here is a link to pulleys viewtopic.php?f=166&t=50443
  4. Here are 3 photo's of it out of the box Mods, I know that I don't have my details posted against these but hopefully as I do in the original post and you can see I have been asked for pics this will be allowed.
  5. I don't have but I can take it out and take one tonight for you. I will see if I have time to fit and take a photo aswell but you may have to wait for that.
  6. Maybe he would let you arrange a courier to collect? I bought a set or rays with tyres and cost me £40, without tyres it get's even cheaper.
  7. Mmmmm not sure I want to go down the route of taking off the bumper (not even sure I could). Is there a guide anywhere?
  8. I would be interested. How easy are these to fit?
  9. It is different, the arms are slightly wider and the flex joints are at a different point to the pre 06 version.
  10. I have a 2007 Y pipe for sale viewtopic.php?f=32&t=51771 Based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands I take it you are reverting back to stock? What exhaust / y pipe do you currently have?
  11. a. I would first look to see if you can get a good part worn Toyo. Worth a post on here but also a couple of companies on Ebay that supply part worns. b. Post in wanted for the sills, here is a link for the car mats: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0230035806 c. seems you have that sorted d. Check in the centre console that you have the bluetooth adaptor. If not, worth a post on here. You should be able to get one for around £60
  12. I purchased a genuine Nismo gear knob from a trader on here just over 4 weeks ago. Despite it being a perfect fit and much better than the OEM knob I just found the whole thing a little to small and uncomfortable in the hand. I had read a few things about the Nismo Titanium version and liked the fact it was a little chunkier and heavier with a more rounded top. Not wanting to spend the £150 ish that was being asked from most of the sites I looked at, I decided to contact William (kta) I explained what I was after, the thickness, rounded top, laser engraved 350z and he agreed to give it a go for me. The new gearknob arrived on Friday and I fitted it straight away. It is exactly what I was looking for. Wider and rounder than the standard Nismo with more weight to it aswell. Looks pretty cool in the brushed aluminimum and matches the interior well. I would like to thank William for making this one off design for me (wait, hold on, he is now selling them!! lol) He has been brilliant from start to finish, keeping me informed of progress and working to my needs. Here are a couple of pictures of it fitted:
  13. Hi, I purchased the above item from another forum member to replace a blown Y section on my 350z. What I wasn't aware of at the time was that the design of the Y section changed with the newer models and this item wouldn't fit my 2005 model without some tweaking. I have since sourced another Y section and so have this available for anyone that is interested. It came off a 2007 350z with 18K on the clock at the time. In really stunning condition for a used part, just sorry it wouldn't fit mine. Just looking to get my money back so £40
  14. Hi, I have for sale a slightly used genuine Nismo Gearknob. I purchased this new from a forum trader a little over 4 weeks ago. Has been on the car for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I have found that it is a little to small in terms of "girth" for me so have sourced an alternative. It is in perfect condition and you would be hard pressed to tell that it wasn't brand new (apart from some slight damage to the box it is packed in). £50 delivered
  15. According to Parkers, you are looking at around £7,600 for something in top condition with that kind of mileage in standard set up. I suspect you would be able to get a bit more than their guide price but most buyers would have done some homework and will a figure around this level in their mind.
  16. I would agree, slightly overpriced but then it all comes down to whether you think it is worth it. Having a mate in the bodyshop means you will get it sorted for next to nothing (or did you mean the bodyshop as in bath salts and soaps, in which case you will smell nice in the car). Anyway, welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing some pics
  17. Just spotted this on the defence estate in Sutton Coldfield, just around the corner from me. Anyone from the club?
  18. I have mate, that's why I am so bitter. lol
  19. Ha ha, it's the same guy who asked me to send him some pics of the aerial on mine. I originally ordered a S2000 aerial from them but it overhung really badly so sent it back for return. He got in touch to ask what car I had put it on then sent this one as a replacement and requested I take some photo's for him. I haven't put it on my car as I found it a little too long and was really after something shorter. Up for sale if anyone wants it.
