Just realised I've been a complete idiot, was trying to remove the radio frontwards as opposed to backwards!! Will try again this weekend! Cheers guys

Did yours just slide out to the front? That's what I was expecting but it didn't shift. Definitely just those 4 screws either side? It seemed to be stuck at the bottom but I couldn't see any other clips or obvious screws

I finally tried this earlier today on my 2008 car...got as far as the 4 screws on each side of the radio and couldn't see how to release the thing?! Wouldn't budge at all, am I missing something? Cheers Kev

If I'd known the fit was so tight I might have looked elsewhere! Good news is I checked the filters at the weekend and I'm happy they sit in place properly, as I said, just that bit neater than the Nissan OEM items...

The filters sit in the holders ok but once these are placed in the airbox the outer rubber edge catches on the lid of the airbox and has to be kind of pushed under the lip. This wasn't the case with the Nissan items and I just wondered whether fiddling with the filter to get the airbox closed would push it out of position within the airbox itself? I'll have another look at the weekend in case I'm doing something daft... Cheers for the replies!

Hi Does anyone else have do-luck filters in their standard air box (313 model). I ordered these and they seem a much tighter fit than the OEM items, requiring the airbox to almost be forced shut! I'm worried that they won't sit properly within the airbox but do-luck are saying this is normal and that they are designed so no air escapes? Anyone any experience of these? Cheers Kev

Hi The previous owner swapped the standard Nissan badges for black 'Z' ones...I want to go back to the standard badges as the black finish isn't great! Does anyone know the cheapest place to get a set of Nissan front and back badges? A dealer has quoted me £72.86 inc VAT supply only - this any good? Cheers Kev

I've been toying with the idea of doing the hack after I couldn't get a cassette adapter to work - however, I would've thought the iphone 4 would work with the normal ipod/dock connector? I had this system in my previous car and it worked, the only problem I noticed when changing from a 3GS to the 4 was a loss of charging capability. Would be good if someone could shed some light on this before I go ahead with the hack...

Ok so the tape adapter no longer swaps between sides, however, I still get no sound - just static! Is it likely the tape deck is knackered? Looks like I'm going to have to attempt the hack after all....
