  1. Exactly. a several other forum members use them. just search through some progress blogs.
  2. well if you're getting rid of your supercharger.....dibs?!
  3. Bloody hell, your making out like your wheels are going to fall off first corner! ive had the blue Chinese ones off ebay, 30mm front and rear. never had a problem, had them on for 8 months? perfect.
  4. Gym. honestly, just go to the gym and do some weights and cardio, even light work. You may not be looking to become a beefcake but it will relieve so much stress and have you something to focus on for a bit. When I get stressed/have things on my mind, I just go and spend an hour or two working on different machines. I find this really helps. it will wear you out, make you sleep great and tomorrow is another day. when I broke up with my ex I wrote a bucket list. and on that list was skydiving, so book a flight to Australia and spent a year there having an awesome time. you may not be able to just get up and go, but you may have other things to focus on.

    WANKEY WHEELS

Got some 17's with tyres and spacers?
  6. I work for a car company as a salesman and that's how it works. Need to make money. TBH, Greg has taken a massive beating on this forum and theres a lot of bad stigma surrounding him. Not going to lie, I went and had a look at a car with him a year or so back and felt like he didn't care about me at all as a customer. we've since spoken, and found out he's generally a nice guy. And the fact he puts a car through a P3 with japex is worth every single penny. The guys at japex are outstanding. Made my old 52 jdm import with 100k on the clock feel like brand new! and will use and recommend them to everyone I encounter. But back on topic, Business is Business. Early bird catches the worm. I sent a few PM's to greg and he called me back within 5minutes - Hes keen and on the ball. Hes bought the car cheap, spent a fair amount of money on it. Im sure if you were to buy the car now from Greg, it would be in a lot better condition to what it was originally. Plus, hes got a meet going on this weekend, trying to get involved with us all. Fair play to the man.
  7. Oh my word! Again, like several people on here, been looking at this with much interest. Would like to know a ballpark figure of what you expect this to cost you?
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAMAGED-REPAIRBALE-58-REG-BMW-135I-M-SPORT-CONVERTIBLE-/271225697182?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f264fb39e plus a bit of work...
  9. a friend of mine is looking at getting one of these. Annoying as he will leave me standing at every opportunity. and thats before he remaps it. Quick as hell. and, can be picked up for as little as 12k! even with a fair few mods, without going FI, he will still leave me standing. not too sure what a FI zed would be like compared to them though?
  10. Just watched the whole thing. i think some people here are missing the point. this isnt about not paying your bills, its about having the correct paperwork, and showing that the balliffs are breaking the law in what they are doing. Simples. But i agree, pay your bills.
  11. wow... looks like my door! on a serious note, not to put thoughts in your head... if they've driven off....do they have insurance?
  12. I thought people would say its still reads it as km to make it sound like less mileage? so even though the car has actually covered 100,000m, they will say its in km, to trick you into thinking its less....
  13. I've always seen a similarity to a Prius. The lights on the mk1 are 350z, and mk2 are the 370z.
  14. People worry about crashing at the ring to much. ive been twice and cant see any reason why you would crash. On my first trip, i was a bit excitable and was driving on 9/10ths of my limit, went into adenur-forst and lost the back end, held it and luckily came out. from that corner on i drive at 7-8/10ths of what i can. and will never push for more. Its a country road that you dont know very well. If you drive on your skill limit youll probably crash. Take into consideration the track surface, the temperature, your car and yourself, whats coming up behind you and you will be fine. UK trackdays are for pushing yourself to the limit. Not the ring. Of course, there may be someone who will side swipe you. but thats not your fault, thats theirs and now they are paying for your motor. if you realy are shitting a brick about it. google Ryanmi. They were going to cover me at the ring for £200.
  15. was there two weeks back, a guy hit a section of Armco and cost him £2000. Ouch.
  16. Absolute Winning! Theres a few bits to sort out. such as a cracked rear light etc. But I'm excited to have a fresh start with a new Zed.
  17. it was a second hand one, but japex fiited it on Thursday 23rd may I think and works perfectly.
  18. Pretty sure that bolt is from the passenger door when I swapped the motor over about 2 weeks ago. I dropped it on the gravel drive, then found it a few days later!
  19. Japex in kings Langley. only a trip down m25 a few junctions. Best garage around in my opinion.
  20. is indeed a cat d. Car will be used for track purposes, so cat D isn't an issue for myself!
  21. Well! This will hopefully be a bit more exciting than my last creation! The Story. Bought a 2003 JDM import around feb 2012 with 79k on the clock. absolutely loved it. Took it to the 'ring twice and survived Mallory. Went through different looks, such as bright orange wheels K1 and Driftworks BGW Ring shot. Then, one Tuesday after work, someone with -1 brain cell, cut me up and wiped me out, then drove off. Charming. Anyways, a few emails and phone calls later and I was standing at the train station with a bright Green Zed coming to collect me. Oh my word. I had, and still have, no words to describe how exhilarating that was. I think my words were "Its like being kicked up the arse!" Massive understatement. Pulling up at the famous zed shed I saw my new zed! Since my last car was a complete write off. Chris managed to find me a new Zed that would suit perfectly. Apart from some unsightly GREEN Doner Kebab advertisement stickers on the side! No wonder he found this one! Personally, I think Chris took them off with such precision that he can keep them! Then, My wheels, exhaust, boot and other bits and pieces were switched onto a 2005 Uk GT spec Zed with 25k on the clock. I Would just like to thank Keyser, Mrs Keyser and Buster for all the help over the week and getting me back in a Zed! Nice to meet all you guys, and it's nice to be able to put faith into someone you've never met. Then, Buster Gave me 'The sticker!' Officially been Zed-sheded! Now; plans for this one. - Rear cage - Coil overs - Brake discs/Pads - Whatever else I find for sale on here! The car will be used more and more for track days as I've caught the track day bug.
  22. Really just want to thank chris and the whole zed shed crew for their hospitality today. Love the reborn zed! Got to ride 'the bitch' aswell today. Oh my word. Sorry for not speaking a lot chris, I was just picking my jaw up from the floor most the ride or holding on incase we went airborne! Again, thank you!
