  1. Treat every car around you as if they are about to cut you up and drive accordingly. Last night on my drive home from work, I was cut up 4 times. Just stupid people on the road.
  2. Damn! its up for £6500. But, if any forum member wants it, give me a call and I wont disappoint you!...and that's not in a 'late night phone call' kind of way!
  3. ***Drop the price to £5000**** no offers. Nissan 350z Black UK 2005 Black exterior with cloth seats. Owned since late may. - Now doing 300-400miles a week, so going through a full tank per week is hurting my pocket. so needs to go! I will own another when not doing so many miles! Exhaust I have a Japspeed k2, that has done under 3,000 miles. Wheels Gold Rays with 4 matching Bridgstone R040a. Wheels could do with a refurb and can be done before collection for an additional £200. Wheel spacers I have some 30mm wheel spacers that I used on some old 17" bright orange OZ alloys due to the offset being too high. If the car sells for what I want, you can have them. to buy these is £100-200. Stubby aerial Due to Nissan producing the 350z with a mile long aerial as standard, this is the first modification any zed owner will likely do! hs no impact on radio reception and makes the whole car look nicer and cleaner. Lights One of my rear lights was cracked when I bought the car, no biggie. I saw a friend with some tinted lights, I fitted them, and loved the stealth look so bought them there and then! I think they really set the back off. On order I have some tinting film which I was going to use on the rear indicator clusters to completely stealth the rear of the car out. what I will do is give you this to decide for yourself. and if you are not a fan of the rear tinted lights, I can put on some standard red ones. Car Cleaning Last week I spent my entire day off cleaning the car. It was fully clay bared, polished and waxed. - for the new owner I will do this all again so it look completely fresh for when you collect it. I have had the car SUPAGARD', This is something you purchase with new cars and can cost anywhere between £250-500. Its a interior and exterior application applied to the paintwork and seats to stop the paintwork looking poor, such as bird poo that is a nightmare etc. on the inside it repels dirt and spills to leave the whole good looking great with minimal effort. Obviously with a 8 year old car, there will be some minor defects. Obviously, with a car of this degree, a certain level of care and attention is due. However, due to being bought from an insurance company, no service history is present. This being of a concern to myself, I phoned up all the garages listed in all paperwork documents that I have and spoke to them to clarify what they have done in regards to the work. I have also spoken to the previous owner who is a fully trained mechanic and he has done the servicing himself. I have just put it through a full P3 service with a 350z specialist called JAPEX who are located in kings Langley. I have used JAPEX for all of my last 350z needs and will recommend them to anyone as they do a fantastic job and actually care about the customer and the job they are doing. I also had all the spark plugs changed as well as rear pads. a new MOT was placed on the car last week. Front discs and pads were fitted last week. Some of the interior plastics have seen better days, so ive ordered some more to replace them. Car has the usual Distant cement mixer gearbox sound which is common is 80% of zeds. Now, I don't know about you, but I would rather have a car that is fully mechanically sound with minimal mileage that I know is going to drive faultlessly for the next 10+years with nothing but usual servicing, but has had some bodywork damage repaired by an insurance guaranteed body shop, than a high mileage car that's more than likely had some undeclared scuff at some stage and been poorly repaired. I know what choice I would take! I am located near Watford, Hertfordshire, you are welcome to come view at any time, just give me a call and ill do my best to help you out. If you have any questions call Luke on 0777 265 3934. Legal stuff: Cash on collection only. can deliver for a fee. Right to withdraw from sale.
  4. Maybe you should change your sig. because you do a lot of things twice. and TBH, its @*!#.
  5. it does indeed, but I work 7 days a week, 8am-10pm most days... so time, unfortunately, is something I wish I had.
  6. Because I don't have the time to be worring about that tbh.
  7. Yeah, if you want it for £250 as a forum member to save the hassle of bidding, you are welcome to it!
  8. Worth a bid! Due to the volume down not working and being a 1 day auction, I think its going to go cheap! even though I think the volume down is a really easy/cheap fix! Got a free s4 from Vodafone so I don't need it anymore.
  9. On eBay is my iPhone 5, no reserve. 1 day action. Will take £250 from a forum member! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130963409584
  10. Back up again! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130962310966
  11. Had a full p3 service and spark plug change done by JAPEX. Car now Back on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130962310966
  12. Well, Just Relisted my car back on ebay! So I best get searching!
  13. That's the kind of response I was after!! Okay, so 996 it is then. So what you are saying is Drive both, see which one I feel more comfortable with, get a detailed inspection and hand over money? Your response to 4wd is what I have read mostly. But I fail to see how if the car is easier to drive and less of a handful that is a negative point? Maybe that's my naivety showing from my lack of 4wd experience?
  14. So.... been looking for another car, AS YOU DO when at work all weekend and not much is going on. And I think I've decided on a Porsche 911, either the 996 or 997. The 996 can be had for near on £10k, and the 997 for about £6k more. Im leaning towards the 996 because im also trying to save for a deposit on a house. I will be looking for opinions on which one? Plus, I think I will prefer the 4wd. I've read a lot of reviews, but people say they are boring in 4wd. Ive never driven 4wd, but on a track, wouldn't 4wd be best? allowing you to approach, carry more speed through, and be more stable than rwd? I know a few guys on here have/had Porsche. Cheers,
  15. Having the joy of being driven/scared Sh*teless, I would love to have that calendar.
  16. You think those companies are going to comply with FSA? you really think they've all been set up legally? and you think if a claim came through and they needed to pay say £10,000 from a luxury car due to it being stolen that they will have that kind of money? I show my customers that prices of GAP elsewhere are cheaper. but I also show them WHY they are cheaper. And 99% of them chose to go for a substantial company that is backed by main dealers.
  17. I sell GAP at work. And 100% worth it if buying a new car. a good thing to do is 'street view' some of the cheaper GAP company's, a few of them are flats above shops! And yes, they will fold and run off with your money before you know it.
  18. Damn, for a second I thought this was about Hooch the drink.
  19. I'm still undecided on the lights tbh. If anyone wants to swap them for normal lights just give us a shout! and no, the wing got sent to the zed shed for burial! Although, I have looked into turning the little lip into an active spoiler! think that would look epic.
