It all depends on how rusty the bolts are - 2 hours DIY 1 hour for a mechanic with a ramp.

Does it sat "Enter Here" on that little arrow - in case you forget???? -
Sounds like the sensor - open the door you will see a black rubber covering a switch - push it in and out a few times see if that sorts it - it should earth the wire when the door is opened - only 1 screw holds it in so easy to take of and clean/inspect.
