Waiting to put the dormers in but it hasn't stopped raining for 3 months

Hello everyone - time for a thread resurrection Two things have come out of the last 3 months of crap weather my loft conversion is so far behind schedule its unbelievable and my wife's roadster is taking on some attributes similar to a gold fish bowl (it keeps filling with water) So as we had a day of not so bad weather on Sunday me and the mad mechanic (Buster) aided by Mrs Keyser pulled the Roadster in front of the Zed Shed to assess the problem. Small amount of mold inside Finishing strip just flapping in the breeze getting as bad on the other side Previous temporary repair on the top seam rear windscreen making an attempt to escape So what to do - Parts coming off all over That's that out of the way we then cleaned up the storage space It just so happened that I though the roof might be beyond repair so I have been scouring the Bay for a while now and managed to secure a replacement roof at a very reasonable price The Crew soon had that bolted in and tested, very happy with the result Best bit - it doesn't leak anymore We then took this and added this from "The Bitch" As I have this "You met me at a very strange time of my life..." Don't think so - as I recall the front bumper was smashed in and he had a stick on plate sorry

You should have said "in the petrol station" Mr G I would have said in the fuel tank behind the drivers seat and fairly easy to get to - but that's just me

When I have friends like you I don't need enemies do I! They need 7 - 10 days it's not even the rain they can tarp it - it's the wind and given that a few houses and industrial units near here have lost "proper" roof's I don't see a tarp keeping us very dry

Yes I have one - getting to it is an issue as everything is still in storage as we hit 3 months behind on my loft conversion Before anyone says anything the problem is the weather - they can't open the roof to put the dormers in until it stops raining As above for getting to it - I would need to dig it out and confirm its condition but one went in the shed

Some of these young drivers nowadays don't even realize how good they've got it ~ electric windows, ABS braking, CD/DVD players, 100bhp+ 1litre cars etc. Back in my day we had to wind the windows down and if you wanted to go faster you went down hill. You think that's bad - when Buster started "driving" if you wanted to go faster you put another horse in front of the cart
