  1. 4mins38 in it gives 0-60 in 5.2.... looks a bit..backyard review but there on the track etc so dunno how they recorded it lol. Very dubious but if true...nice I still wouldn't 'claim' my car did anything less than 5.5 lol
  2. I cling onto this like its the best thing ever... lol Evo recording the HR at 5.5... but tbh with rear wheel drive and unless you've got some good skill and the right conditions I doubt we could get that out the Z... no matter what version lol. The hot hatches are coming..... EDIT - BUT! And surely people have seen some of the car vid reviews from the US....recording stuff like 5.2?? I'm dubious of these..
  3. Try coming from a 06' Hyundai Coupe 2.0.... Whole different atmosphere the Zed was compared to that haha. Yeah for some reason when I type for any lengthy period here ..only on the site it starts to stutter and miss letters. Don't know what the fonts about. lol Just back from the petrol station actually, white Supra (exterior un modded by the looks of it)pulled up behind me. I gave a polite nod to the better vehicle, lovely looking thing. And with that.. what power did the Supra have again while were at it? Is the Zed close to it in standard form (standard supra that is lol)
  4. Its a good thread this, had a good read at it too. I think it just depends on the meaning of 'league'. You could fire in that its the price/power. You could...if you wanted to... put it down to looks. The Zeds can get more looks than cars costing a lot, lot more. In terms of pace, with reasonably pacey cars, in reality, half a second etc you aren’t gonna bother… most people driving about won’t. It’s a pub top trumps issue that lol. So I would put the 350Z or 370Z in the league of things like the E46 M3, Focus ST, Boxster, Cayman (2.7) etc. There are surprising ones also, which I’ve had a go in (not driving though)…such as similar year SL350.. bout the same sort of pace. Some people will look at bigger cars and think it’s the more potent car but its not always the case. You could put a number of cars from various body styles/sectors in the same table as the Z’s but I think its def down to your own perception. As previously mentioned, why you bought it… where do you see the Zed being in your mind. Let’s be honest (and I know there are people on here with many experience of high powered cars), the Zeds with their unique looks and still potent 300 odd bhp is enough to keep it in a ‘top’ league of its own against many other stuff. Yes there are hot hatches catching up and beating it now but don’t forget your still sitting in a car that looks the business and will still munch round that speedo at a fair rate. As someone said at my work to me after chatting about my HR, “some people won’t even get near 300bhp in their life of buying cars…even if they like sporty stuff. Lucky guyâ€. And you remember why you bought it in the first place! Its in a ‘top’ league in my mind lol. Note – My reply was…. “I certainly am, but you haven’t seen the tyre and fuel bills….†lol EDIT - Don't know whats up with the font
  5. Driving to get my two new Falken 453 rears on the Friday and the rain was brutal, so glad I've got new rubber, standing water was everywhere! Bum clench moments a plenty going to get them fitted haha
  6. Just seen this. I don't know the area at all but just looking at the road in the picture, god knows why you'd be hurtling up it. Also reading 'a number of cars', ridiculous. There was a crash not long ago near here with younger people in it flying down a blind hill and round a bend, horrific. Old enough to know, but possibly 'ignorant' to understand what could happen. Again though, such a shame and you cant imagine the families horror at it all. I see a lot of younger people racing on a carriageway near Strathclyde park a lot and having been in the passenger side of a 100+mph crash when I was 18 you just sit and think... if only you knew how bad it could get in that split second something goes wrong.
  7. Spose' it depends on how you like to drive, if its you're first performance car you might find the Zeds quite torquey. You're ears might tell you to change sooner than you need. I often find, even when going to overtake etc I only head up to 5 and end up changing. It doesn't always or mostly need the full whack. (7.5 on my HR). As EKona said though, normal 'fuel conserving' driving 2.5 and the Zed can change up from any gear at low speeds too with the torque.
  8. Put some more by for a well looked after HR, you'll thank yourself you did. The restyled bits are minor but make the difference and I can understand why the older cars faults and the 06 oil thing can put people off. Worth the wait I would say.
  9. Good luck! lol It'll be fine I bet

    Lovin' this!

From the foreign wording its just a tuner car styling it but that front should be the new GTR. Dunno bout the side or the rear which you can't see. I don't even like modded cars lol

    Lovin' this!

The next one should look like this... the front looks the dogs bits I think. What do you think? http://www.autogespot.nl/wildspeed-tekent-nieuwe-nissan-gt-r
  12. Spot on. I somehow cannt see infiniti associated with a 'raw' sports car but would be nice if they gave it a go lol
  13. I MEANT...Ekona lol we have all strayed over the limit, but no there is no excuse for such an action with children or not on board.
  14. We HAVE all been there, despite what most would say, but on the seatbelt thing... WEAR IT. Saved my life when I was 18 when my friend (newly passed) decided to take his sporty hatch over 100 and crashed into a field rolling over with me and another for company. I was in the front passenger seat. Knob (my mate that is) lol. Having said that my other mates life was saved in a 'bubble' Corsa as he didn't wear it, the way the car crushed meant he fell out the seat away from danger. Meh... but wear it! lol Good on your daughter for the belt!
  15. Had both the Coupe and Convertible from Infiniti Glasgow, thought both were pretty good. Tonnes of kit for what your paying, especially if you get one nearly new. Its more a grown up cruiser with the power of the Z, where as the Zeds more 'focused'. You feel the body roll in the infiniti as you go round sweeping corners, but tbh most people buying won't care about that lol. As for looks/exclusivity... I had the black coupe with black alloys sitting outside a café as I had lunch and the amount of looks it gets, a lady on a bus snapped her neck back and whipped out her phone for a pic which surprised me lol. Recently had the M hybrid saloon... to all intensive purposes a jap Roller lol Feels massive, but very nice.
  16. If it was before Harthill and a 313 could possibly be me in the grey, but gun metals the 276 colour...lol I'm always on the M8. What time?
  17. Seen one at Alex Noble and the first thing I didn't like was the huge exhausts.... with tiny ones inside..that you can see. Just make it the size they need to be and don't tart it up with bigger ends..looks bad IMO. Love the 5Star wheels and for some reason the LED fog lamp at the back lol
  18. Last time I went to the gd ol' USA I wanted to spot some Vipers...seen bugger all lol. Love how the food is massive though... Biggest regret not finishing that beast of a mountain of Nachos...
  19. One day buddy.... one day lol
  20. Yep its amusing in winter lol. Glad you and you're car were ok!

    New Mustang

There something odd about its proportions but having seen Attack's pic of it in the flesh looks better.
  22. Didn't have a spoiler on it, I 'think' the rear lights were different and possibly black wheels... when I seen it veering I paid more attention to where it was on the road than the car haha. Sure it was a 55' plate
  23. haha I posted that in July! Always good to get a reply though!
