They've always had a good few Zeds, I remember lookin' at some of their ads when I was looking for mine. You are right though there are some dodgy rumours about them flying around, so hopefully someone on here can give you some first hand experience. They seem tidy enough but what the service is like or if you had to come back to them is possibly the issue? (from stuff I heard)

Yeah that's just it, theres not many in the Z's price bracket, ok cayman etc but...really? lol Would love a Vantage as its not a million miles away in terms of dreams but still cost a fortune to run. Infiniti are on a bit of a run, there new car looks good and hopefully so should any future ones. They just get a bit of stick though cos of the weird steering thing.

You are right though, when looking for something similar to a Zed...there isn't much...a good thing and a bad thing in itself. How many rear wheel drive bruiser loookin' coupes with good power are there (that look unique and special). Not many

The 335i does have a good engine and you do get a good bit of performance but at the end of the day (unless you are the stereotype ...'hidden performance guy/girl' ...yawn) its just a 3 series coupe with two pipes on its backside. Theres nothing exciting about them at all. Even the interior you don't get the nice ...little ..but nice touches like aluminium pedals etc... everything comes at a cost..extra cost. If you were gonna buy a 335i new ...just put more by and get an M3 lol For that reason second hand a 335 wouldn't even interest me in the slightest. Plus fuel economy apparently isn't an issue. Anyway I better stop ranting before my hate for most BMW's looks and blandness comes out lol Good handling but just...most high models look the same as your basic 118, 318, 418 whatever there calling em lol. God Nissan hurry up and bring a replacement for the 370Z... were lagging behind now I think lol

Its a very good, overlooked car I think. You can pick holes in everything and say oh its not as 'tight' as a 3 series etc, but tbh... are you a road tester...no lol If your after a unique coupe with a good amount of power, comfy, smooth, genuinely usable rear seats (and don't mind the fuel!) the G37 is a gd'un. Its like a Z for the more mature person haha. But yeah don't buy new. Theres plenty second hand with barely any mileage for £19-25K and you get a good amount of toys with it and flappy paddles lol. Honestly if you don't mind the running costs its a pretty damn good car to have in terms of looks, luxury and power. I'd certainly have one if I had to replace the Zed with something a bit less "hardcore". Certainly gets the looks anyway just as much a Zed (mind you one of the ones I had was black with big black alloys so.... lol). Just one thing...get the model that DOESN'T have the chrome lip spoiler at the rear lol

Good guide! Much better solution (it seems) to taking the bumper off, especially if your under tray nuts/screws has kinda stuck and twisted to the bottom of the bumper lol

No idea, but I once dispensed of a full tank in under two days (and that's just driving about, not actually going anywhere)... It sounds too good... lol

Love spending money on the car but depends on the reasons!.... Recently.... few months ago...2 rear Falken 453's £314 fitted.... got a nail in one same day...£157.... just Friday there...nail...£157... Just had my front discs and pads... can't even mind the cost.... just had it serviced P1 at Infiniti £120 or something. Needs new rear pads...£30 OEM Brembos off ebay (still to purchase lol). Tax in June..as dammit near £500.... oh and the fact I got nowhere with the pleb that dropped debris on my car at work with their JCB. So new windscreen and panel .......if it goes on a car like the Zed my god get ready to pay out lol... I'd hate to own an Aston....'hate'.... lol

Who wouldn't love a cracked windscreen and a dented front panel..mmmm ...stupid digger company. Erm, maybe?... Last summer I tend to find men hovering over it. Mind you I came out the Fort in Glasgow to find a couple standing at it with the man more than happy to stop me closing my door because he had some 'important' questions about the car... lol

Yeah happens if its been left for a bit just on initial go. Unless I need to (hill, uneven road) I just park it in reverse.

Possibly getting one of these on Thursday night as a courtesy car when the Zeds in for a service. Likely a diesel though since I need to fill it back up lol. Very nice looking cars I think!
