  1. Unlucky mate. After some polishing doesn't look too bad, but just depends how far you can go with product. I had a similar shunt in my silver coupe in 2009 and it managed to buff out with the silver hiding the lighter marks. Hope it hasn't dented the panel in.

  6. Sitting at the lights just down the hill from the Bentley garage in Hamilton and a 370 went up the hill. Just before it a grey GTR went down the way. (around 11am ish)
  7. As some people might know on the 350 threads I have a buggered panel and a cracked windscreen. I will be having it fixed soon and the screen replaced so its back to its glory. I have however been pondering about trading in, clearing the finance and starting again with a 370Z whenever one I wanted popped up. Am I mad? Is it worth the change more than my HR?? (excluding the obvious interior qualityetc) I keep looking at them and thinking hmmm.... lol
  8. Saw you and your gf at the Bellszihill mcds roundabout yesterday. We were just coming up to it and you were coming round. I was sitting in an Infiniti M. Put the window down and tried to wave and peep but you didn't see I don't think. My gf next to me thought I was a knob lol
  9. Well, nothing much to say except brilliant service all round again! Originally went in to see what the rattle was. Initially thought the drop link (which was on its way anyway) so that was replaced but further inspection and, I suppose, a bit of deduction found it was the banana arm... oh dear. Call from David to let me know he was finding the price but to have a look myself see if I can get it at a good price (not many garages will do that for you!) but when I spoke to him again found that for not a lot more than I got offered from traders on here he could get me the arm, so well chuffed. Had the Infiniti M hybrid out for a few days and was very nice indeed. Came back today and my car was rattle free and GLEAMING lol. Thank you very much to Marie & David at Infiniti. Also thanks to the people on here who got back to me. And to anybody round that area who hasn't or isn't using them, you should. And this isn't a 'plug'...they are that good
  10. I'm so glad they got rid of the 'swoopy' front end they've been doin with the Nismo's, even on the 350...hate it....*hides* lol Decent seats! The 370 standard ones look podgy n' fat, okish to sit in imo
  11. First of all I'm gonna 'greet' Cars in at Infiniti Glasgow and what was a drop link (still being replaced as on its way out) is now a full on banana thingy. So I'm not technical and the...very helpful technician may I point out!... has advised its 99% the banana arm thing (not the lower wishbone?) and says he thinks its the ball joint thing but you only get that with the arm? And Nissan charge 400-500 for the part?! So who wants to come to my rescue! I need prices and delivery times pleaaaaassseee....god please. lol *cries horridly into hands* Crails on sunday! Mind you I think he said should be ok until I get the part, I'll just need to put up with the knocking at slow speeds over bumps. Cheers for any help!
  12. Not gonna even read the comments.. LPG...Z...No lol
  13. Anybody seen this yet?.... Only a quick snap but looks the business! http://www.autoblog.com/2014/05/15/nissan-370z-nismo-freshening-coming-tomorrow/
  14. I'm not technical but it could be the kinda pivot ball joint bearing thing at the top of the suspension. I've got that just now and will be replaced next month. Apparently shouldn't fail (the part) but it gives a loud rattle/knocking over bumpy roads.
  15. Can't wait til the end of June! 12 months ..here we go!... lol
  16. A very random thread this... Had 3 a while back, now 0 lol
  17. Well was off to a bodyshop over the clyde today but on the way back at the roundabout near Infiniti Glasgow a bronze coloured Dodge Challenger went past, my god looked good. Not a huge fan but stood out, Jay you would have appreciated it lol
  18. I'm reasonably newish but now had a good bit of experience and I also did the 'I wonder how much..' thing at the start. It can all rack up, tyres on the rear if you've a partial right foot and if you get say accidents like nails... 2 rear, 2 nails, few months apart, not even using the dearest tyre it can rack up costs. Fuel, god don't make me think about how much I spend lol, servicing is ok but find a specialist and even then if repairs are needed it can be costly depending. Engine is strong though just keep that oil in check. Its not major league stuff but from the time I've owned it, it does seems to creep into the 'if you have to ask...' category of running costs lol. Oh....and welcome! lol If you go for it, you will love it though! EDIT - Also realised the mileage you put, tyres should be ok. Just watch the fuel and general insurance/tax. Its still a fair amount for something you won't be using that much
  19. I don't even have to mention what I had to most on here, but for those who don't lol... 2.0 SE Coupe (06'). My mate still has his 2004 Celica T-Sport. Coupe was definatly the more refined cruiser of the two but I wanted the celicas better pace. Consider the Zed a best of both...GT abilities with pace lol
  20. Driving through Glasgow last night and parked up was a silver - what looked like Veilside bodykitted - 350Z. Last night.
  21. Not a good lookin' car but you damn right I'd follow for a glimpse. Nice one
  22. Ah well mate, shame to see another Zed going but you'll be back Thanks for the 'mini meet' in Livi
