Yeah I must admit I like a slow 2nd gear blip literally for 2 secs cos the Zed sounds best just slooowwly accelerating (too harsh if you just pelt' it lol) and it can sound as if its going faster than you actually are. Just comes with the car I suppose ....

A5's can be costly to buy even used.... get an HR 57' onwards if you can lol. Um otherwise I'm not sure. earlier cars have the more common faults I think... and I just fear the 296's for that oil issue lol Whatever you go for though, you'll love it! I nearly bought an A5....I'm so glad I didn't

Yes there is a time and a place and ...that place could be it for a quick photoshoot or quick vid of its sound (providing your not being an idiot lol) but probably best to do it when its completely empty. The guy should be looking at the circumstances (closeness of cars, if anyone was near, were you doing it in an open bit away from everyone at the back etc). Yes I don't see a problem someone 'advising' you of their displeasure but depending on how you did and what you did is also key. If I had blipped it just coming in and someone did that...they'd find me in their passenger seat and it would be a most uncomfortable chat for them lol Mind you, I do not like people not looking further ahead at the big picture so that annoys me in general.... Empty places mate are best is the key and don't be too much of a silly billy

With the amount of money I've spent repairing or adding to it it'll be getting kept well over 100K miles lol

Well this month I bought 4 brand new Falken 453s, major service with plugs next friday and also going to have the scorpion and Cobra fitted at the same time. So I feel your pain with the cost least i wont have to deal with the exhaust ever again lol Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

I'm about to buy a Scorpion backbox/mid pipe and Cobra Y-pipe and get it fitted next week. Not ideal having to spend so much on a Y-pipe I agree but should be a decent item and it'll last lol Hope it goes well for you!

Turned it off a few times but it stays FIRMLY ON lol. You do notice when its off and even my passengers say they can feel its a bit more 'nervous'. And obviously if you spin it round your like....ooh the grip, the griiiaaaahhhhh...and then you feel just how heavy the car is as it swings round lol. KEEP IT ON UNLESS YOUR IN OPEN GROUND or...are good at driving lol

Yeah that's what he was saying, that instead of having to come back (which I would have) to do the Y-pipe why not just do it now. Does the Cobra Y-pipe make it even louder than I want? (something just a little more than standard). Thanks for the reply CS!

Ok I have an issue. lol Been speaking to a friend who is a mechanic (so fair enough..) but he advised, if I'm doing the exhaust in stainless steel (Scorpion) I'd be better to do a Y-Pipe also?? He said theres no point in that cos you'll end up eventually back replacing another section. Now I am a bit lost on what to do, still trying to do this as 'cheap' as possible (doubtful) but also I DO NOT want a loud exhaust. People advised the Scorpion is just a bit more growly than standard (which is what I want) but ok and not loud/droning when driving normally (like standard). If I change the Y-pipe too, will this effect the noise even more and which one should I get to go with a Scorpion exhaust?? HELP lol

I'm a good good while away from this issue, but I do find myself wondering...where do I go after?....I don't want to go backwards lol One of the main memories from 370Zs I've been in is...just starting it and thinking "wheres the growl?...the noise?"..

I know not in the same ballpark but in regards to looking special, I drove passed a new parked up Merc C-Class...good god. And I've seen the interiors. Its like utter luxury. A mini S-class in looks. Its crazy how things have changed. (even looked at the Astra GTC compared to the old sharp edged horrid dashed' thing) ...cars be getting good lookin' and fast! And not costing £500 to tax...grrr lol *clutches keys again* lol

The first one is horrid lol. Its not an amazing beauty but in the right colour and spec Celicas are not bad. My mates got a T-Sport in blue but bought the official kit to make it look like the GT. Burns my soul that little cars like this are destroying cars like the Zed (not just the Zed..lol) these days. It is bargain performance! BUT... it still looks...well a bit uninspiring... damn you hot hatches and the like...damn you. *clutches Zed keys* lol
