Mines works fine, I've always got copied CD's and songs in it, dunno about older versions but surely there shouldn't be any difference. Maybe the discs your using?

Raced a green one like that before at Crail, it was destroyed lol But these little hot..and light..hatches are quite perky, especially around twisty roads.

I agree with said previously once your up and running you do need a big bump in power to pull away (and usually on the straights). Some hot hatches and even at times mini hot hatches can be scampering at the Zeds heels.

I know! I didn't mean it in a bad way, just thought this was a good wee post and a good example of everyone getting on lol We all know the score on performance cars and we all know the score on safety I don't see anything wrong with it as long as the person wasn't being silly and... watch what your saying on here for your own sake haha.

Lexx is right and the fact that these can be used against you should be enough (but remember no one likes driving like an idiot lol), but we ALL know what its like or what people can be like with any performance orientated car. I cannot say anything as I sure as heck use my car, but I'm always thinking ahead and using my noggin as to whether that little spurt or overtake is ... right for that moment. Not necessarily because you're driving like an idiot (I'm not saying you were btw lol), as said we all like performance (thats the point of the site and the car in part) but simple things can land you in trouble and no one...wants to be in trouble lol Also good when you mentioned about the under 60 thing, as you indeed do not need to be 'flying' to have fun with sports cars, sharper cornering and flowing bends can give you just as much fun - while being safe - than doing a million miles an hour lol. With that in mind I still found it interesting and amusing to read. I've often wondered about the new Astra VXR's (not sure if you meant the old or new one) and just how quick they are compared to the Zed, considering there about the same power level. I do find anytime I pass one (unlike Focus ST's...) they do not try and start a 'competition of the willy' lol. Maybe one day I'll meet one and if I'm honest I may indeed entertain it (if I feel suitable and safe for the surroundings ) These are good little posts, its said, moderator jumps in with good reason and explains! and the person takes on and everythings good. I'm with Admiral and its part of it, I've called and checked. Over 25 and fully comp gives you 3rd party (DON'T CRASH YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILYS CAR lol) so you won't get any costs towards the car your in if you have an accident. Used it a few times with my friends car when mines was being repaired but there is that 'fear' you get lol Best thing to do is call the insurer and check and ask where it says this on the documents (section etc) as it is not automatic because you are over a certain age or fully comp, only certain insurers do this!

Bi-Xenons on the later cars are brilliant. Very rarely use full beam. I've heard, even with the Xenons the 276 models lights are pretty poor.

Just seen this! Noooo Kris, what are you doing?! Haha I've also had a gander for future reference before and it really is hard to find the same sort of thrills as the Z. You either get faster but duller and no nice sound etc or better handling and again...no excitment lol The Zed (even though flawed in areas) manages to pull off bits of everything; nice sound, very unique looking and eye catching, bucket loads of 'character', fast enough for most people, reasonable kit, good used prices to buy. Short of spanking £35K on something like a baby vantage/DB9 (riskylol), I can see why your struggling. Evos look good, nice presence off them in the flesh but I don't think it would be the same kinda fun somehow. Good luck with whatever you go for mate!

Exact same colour as mine,goin past bothwell co-op and a silver de on the other side of the races carridgeway.... Both same night but cant remember now lol few nights ago anyway. Think the Hr may have had GT4 wheels on it

I've been replacing stuff since it went past 35K lol haha. I'm on just under 50K on the original clutch and still going strong. Plan to keep it well over 100K (providing I can still afford it lol). Try and get an HR it gets rid of some of the common faults but again you may end up replacing stuff... in my case ..bushes...loads...which sometimes come with ..suspension arms lol If your smart and use people on here you'll be able to find these cheap enough or used parts that do fine
