  2. wish i had the other 2 wheels
  3. £75 million to put a handful of people in place of something that was already in there. Again, another total waste of money which could be best spent elsewhere.
  4. If they're Black KH3 is the colour code.
  5. Looks like someone left there car outside Ian's :D
  6. Had the same problem last year. The good new was it was only the rubber pipe that had perished, the bad news is it's a bumper off job.
  7. I vowed never to have another white car. But on this occasion i could be tempted
  8. I quite like the Lambo doors, but dont think i would put them on myself. I researched these for an Astra GSI a few years ago and they fell into two brackets. Some were about £200 and the better ones were in the region of £550. The difference seemed to be the thickness and quality of materials. The cheaper ones were ok for exhibition type cars where there wasn't the cosntant opening and closing needed on a daily runner.
  9. I remember reding this in EVO (October edition) whilst on holiday. I'm going to do this sometime soon. North Yorkshire Moors 3 roads to take note of. All run North to South accross Heath land. First the A169 from Pickering to Sleights, secnod the unmarked road from Hutton-le-Hole to Castletonalong Blakey Ridge and finally the B1257 Between Helmsley and Stokesley. Where to stay? Dunsley Hall at the top of the A169, the Mallyan Spout, White swan Inn at Pickering or Red Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge.
  10. Sounds like a wheel arch liner pronlem. Check for missing clips and that it's fitting properly.
  11. I'm in quite a privilaged position with respects to speeding on public roads and i can tell you it's not the place to gert over zealous, far too many things going off. I'm not going to lecture anyone on the subject because we all have done it at some point, me included. Yes the cars these days are so far advanced (ABS,Steering, Traction control) over past cars when the speed limits were originally set but it is a fact that speed is the main contributing factor in nearly all accidents and deaths on the road. Drive sensibly and within the conditions of the roads at the time. If you are still hell bent on driving quickly, your local road safety partnership generally post on the internet where they plan to put their mobile speed cameras for that day. It doesnt tell you what times it will be there the statics are painted bright yellow and you should be able to see them if your paying attention and the roads a covered with repeating speed limit signs so that said if you still manage to get caught then it's your own fault. Sorry but that's not even remotely true. Even ROSPA (at the vanguard of the war on speed) don't claim it's anywhere near that. If we take road deaths, as it's not open to interpretation whether or not someone is dead, then less than a quarter of deaths in 2011 had excessive speed declared as their primary contributing factor. Human error (not paying attention) is still overwhelmingly the largest cause of road deaths, and always has been. Kind of surprised that someone in your position would say something so totally contrary to the facts DB My mistake should have put ONE of the main contibuting factors. But im glad to see you have contibuted to the topic anyway.

  14. What have you swapped it for? I'll have to drop by Sainsury's and have a look.
  15. The last i heard, Cookbot was abroad trying for his comercial pilots licence, but this was some time ago.
  16. NIce weekend Ian, looks a blast, I must do this run some time.
  17. beuatiful, i remember when these were all the rage.
  18. IMO, by the time you've paid for the materials and messed up a couple of times it's not worth the hastle (get a pro to do it). All that said i do know where you're coming from and the satisfaction of doing something yourself.
  19. without further information it's hard to make any suggestions. It could be numerous things.
