So i was thinking of doing some leather trim pieces in the Zed, found the above retailer who sells tons of leather products, they seem to have leather for almost every panel in the Zed . Here They do a leather door panel skin you can fit yourself, lots of colour options Im thinking of just buying a leather handbrake boot to cover the existing plastic and to test them out. Was thinking tan stitching to go with the Alezan seats: Or maybe even this? If its good, both have matching gear gaiters Anyway was wondering if anyone's had experience with their products or any thoughts?

@da.murfI will see what i can do mate So after having my wheels refurbished i wanted to protect them well, enter: Ceramic coating that offers up to 1-2 years protection. Before i applied it i gave the wheels a very thorough clean: They weren't particularly contaminated but still needed to be as clean as possible for best durability of the coating Then i gave them a good polish as i was locking in the finish, used koche chemie m3.01 and a foam hand polishing pad After applying the C5 they were left to cure: Then the next day refitted and treated to a new pair of lug nuts, in neo chrome It took a couple days to remove, full prep, apply and let cure. Plus i gave the arches a thorough clean and dress , nasty down there. Very happy with how it turned out, polishing the wheels really added a lot of gloss and took away the flatness/dullness they had after the powder coating. and the C5 may also have added gloss alonside the protection. Loving the new lug nuts too, replaced the faded Rays ones.

Oh man those things are so nice. I wish i got one back in the day. So your running the APS one now? Any idea what the performance is like between that and the cozzie. Ive read the APS one has the best gains? -
Ive heard some talk about condensation too. The pic was taken right after i fitted them and washed the car, and yes there was condensation. However since then there hasn't been any. Even today where i had the wheels off cleaning the arches with a jet wash (which is right behind the headlight and has loads of gaps), they are clear. So it may have been something to do with them coming out of storage and being fitted. But i will be keeping an eye on them. The thing is they are not 100% enclosed, theres a little breather hole with a u shaped pipe and filter. Im not sure if thats on the OEM ones. Will keep thread updated on it. @nissanman312 Cheers mate

Or just dry it!

Looking good mate. Yellow calipers or red currently? I had a red manual with light grey interior and dash etc, very rare combo. Always considered modding it but had to choose between that and the Z.

Volk racing CE28 fronts 19x9.5 rear 19x10.5. Cant remember the offset, will have to have a look, bought them a long time ago
-
Thanks mate, was a bit unsure before i did it, but i really like how it turned out. As for the wheels, no spacers, just the right offset to produce that fitment.

Nice, good enough to reduce the bright red of the rear light housing. If you use a good quality tint, they let out plenty of light. Ive seen those cascading rear LEDs, theyre expensive though. Heres mine (including dreaded wiper delete lol):

I did mine recently Plastic bag over battery and fuse boxes, bit of masking on some electric components/alternator depending on vehicle. If you do use a jet wash, make sure you dont keep it pointed at a vulnerable part (plugs etc). Good de-greaser style all purpose cleaner: I use/recommend Bilt hamber surfex HD mixed 5-1 iirc Assortment of brushes: the one shown above, an old toothbrush for getting in very tight gaps and i found the EZ detail brush very good for between pipes and looms and hard to reach lower areas: Do the underside of bonnet first, spray on APS, work in and rinse off. Then work on quarters, top right for example. Spray APC liberally and work in all areas using brushes and cloths, rinse before moving on. Theres no work around, its just elbow grease and being meticulous. Take your time After, dry with towels/blower etc whatever you have. Then apply some dressing. Car Pro Perl is cheap and flexible to use on everything. Metals can be hit with some metal polish. Before After: Have fun PS: I actually snow foamed mine with a mix of Foam and APC: Not really necessary though

Thats not my car BTW lol Got any pics of the rear tints you did? Ive done the same recently, i went with 'medium' tints I was also considering DRLs, maybe the LEDs on the rear too (at some point)

@Reg97 Nice motor. Eyelids are a polarizing mod, i think they can look good with other cosmetic mods. If you like em, keep em, cant all go around with the same opinion
-
Not going for the wrap option?
-
lmao what a problem and solution

My headlights are in bad shape. Oxidization and UV damage, plus you know, they're pre facelift So, replaced them with the Depo black internal headlights! (from George at Tarmac), thats what was in the box above . They are projector (instead of reflector), so an upgrade in function as well as form. Upgraded all bulbs; D2S OSRAM Cool Blue Boost Xenarc main/high-beam , Twenty20 3156 LED indicator and LED side light. All courtesy of Autobulbsdirect, thanks to Pete there, was a big help. Had to fit some 6ohm 50w in line resistors on the indicator bulbs (Green live Black ground) to stop the rapid blinking you get from LEDs low power requirement. While i had the bumper off for the headlights i decided to paint the center of the N1 black, to continue the theme. I used Plastidip, so that its reversible incase i dont like it. TBH i dont think this bumpers got much life left in it, cracking everywhere and damage from others who have knocked it. May have to be replaced soon..... Amuse style from Taras anyone?? Happy with the result all round Oh and while i was at it i upgraded the rear number plate bulbs to more modern looking LED ones, to complete the look at the rear, also from Tarmac. Old: New: Also upgraded interior bulbs to LED, festoon dome and 501 wedge for boot. Brighter and a nice clean crisp white light all round

10 years here. Still love it, not sure what could even replace mine with.
-
Yea gotta be the same car. Kinda got to see it in the flesh to get an idea of the proportions.
-
@coldelGot any pics of that satin black console? Im considering options for my interior. Thinking brushed metal and some gloss/satin black. (sorrry to hijack)

@ilogikal1 Youre right about the claying i moved it to after wash, my mistake. However, fallout etc is a before contact wash after snow foam/TFR for me. The idea being to remove as much as possible before making contact with the car. Does depend on how dirty the car is though. Looking forward to the results
