As title. Looking for one i can pick up for cheap. Just need it for some mockup work so colour and condition doesn't matter. One of these:
-
Im very happy with how it turned out, Love those welds too lol, thought it was just me. The exhaust is very high quality, just like the rest of the APS kit. no complaints even after all this time
-
I think youre right, its probably more work than its worth. Plus the black internal polished outside kinda looks appropriate on my tips.
-
@HEADPHONESI will post a couple pics when i get a chance to. Not easy to get the details at night as the camera just blurs it into one source. Thanks @davey_83 Took my time and did it to the best of my ability. Did some exhaust polishing recently. Was a little dull Foam cones and White Diamond worked a treat Tho polish even leaves some protection as you can see from the beading Lots of elbow grease, but the drill helped alot. Will do the rest when i have the car on a lift one day.
-
Did pipes and rear silencers the other day actually. Would like to do the rest of the system some time. Used some foam cones and White Diamond metal polish. Very pleased with the results. Posted in my build thread. I wouldnt mind doing the inside of the tailpipe, but not sure the best way to go about it. Its pretty caked on in there

Been a while since i updated the thread. Have done a few bits though. One of which was attempt to sort a problem i had with one of the Depo headlights building up moisture, which im pretty upset about tbh. I decided to split and reseal in an attempt to fix, and while i was at it did a headlight mod i always liked. Split using oven. (preheat to 120C, remove all screws and place in oven for 6-7mins and literally pull apart) LED strip wired up, sheathed and secured with double sided 3m Sanded down the areas i wanted the light to penetrate, masking of the rest. Picture taken in daylight, They are wired in to the side light and i use them as DRLs I used Butyl tape to reseal the lights, thats the proper stuff youre supposed to use. Also wear Latex gloves, you DO NOT want fingerprints inside the housing. I tried but it doesnt picture so well, cameras dont like taking pictures directly into light, who knew Overall very happy with how it turned out. Lots of positive comments . I didnt want anything where you can see the strips/tubes etc. They look cluttered during the day imho. This way everything is hidden behind the shroud.

Sorry to hear about your troubles mate. It all depends on what you want from the car. If your going to strip the bottom end, which it sounds like your going to have to, you can throw in some forged parts and the APS TT kit can run upto 550-600bhp as is. Labour wont be much more than the cost of a refresh, just parts. If not just give it a refresh as Alex mentioned and you should be good for a long while running about 400bhp. Me, i would go forged, you've got most of the ingredients for a monster build.

makes sense. Nice for shows and stuff.

Can also be bad earth somewhere (as it was with me). Ive heard it can be a brake bulb out, pads or pad sensors or bad battery. Start with the easiest and cheapest and go from there
-
when do they come on and off? Manual control or?
-
Its modern looking i and pretty balanced, not too extreme or too subtle. Gia Cuzzo it pretty nice too. Its like a more subtle version of the V2 https://www.ctd-germany.com/en/challenge-rear-spoiler
-
Same, i have the N1 spats. Out of all the spoilers ive looked at (ive spent time on it lol) i like the N2 style the most. But like you say, its a matter of finding one that fits well too. Tarmac sportz to a Strosek Style one for about £250. You need to get the boot lip part in addition which is an easy used find on ebay. https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/tarmac-sportz-nissan-350z-03-09-frp-strosek-style-rear-spoiler.html

That bumper really goes with the 'pointier' styling of the 370. ^
-
Ive got some bits of the dash that i was thinking of wrapping in Alacantara anyway. If i go ahead with that it may tie in with the flocked A pillar. Not sure if i can do the headlining though. I would imagine its at least £300 or so to get it done. Really depends on the material too. Seems we've got more similar ideas as im also keeping an eye out for spoilers. Either V2. Although trying to find one with good fitment... or maybe the strosek style? If you've got other mods on the back then i like V2, if not then the duckbill
-
Just re-read your post and realized you installed an oil cooler lol. Must pay attention. Yea thats the only ones i found that are made for a Zed. All the universal ones ive tried dont have a good fit for me. Still not sure if i will go for it. Maybe he will give a discount for a couple orders lol
-
Nice! Mines on the other side. Im considering an A pillar pod too. Have you found one that fits nicely?
-
yea that angle really shows off the front arch and the way it continues into the front bumper Do you happen to have a guide on those skirts? i have a plastic/double glazing shop near me. thinking of asking if they can cut me some stuff to a provided template
-
Any pics? Look forward to reading about it mate!

Looking lovely. Nice fitment. Im still loving mine too, its on axle stands at the moment while the bumpers away. Getting withdrawal symptoms. You made those skirts yourself right?

@Ian Boost gauge used to be in the volt meter slot. But had a problem with the old triple cluster so replaced them recently and felt like moving in to the A pillar. @ZMANALEX Nice setup. Is it possible to splice the AEM AFR into the existing wideband sensors? What bank do you have it reading? Also, got a build thread? Got another pod on the way, hope this one works.
