  3. My mats (offocial 370z ones bought from ZmanAlex) are identical to the ones suits has and they never budge.
  4. I agree with Dan, the lane is there to be used, pointless quing in one lane exacerbates the problem. You see this behaviour all the time with human dynamics, we are a social animal so we automatically follow the pack. If a group exists (in this case a queue) we automatically join it, its in our nature. Only a minority of personalities break that dynamic and move away from the group and thereby they set up a new group, which others then feel they can join. I watched a documentary about it years ago and found it fascinating (i love people watching). One scenario in particular interested me, they ran an interview session with 20 people and 19 participants were actors. The tutor left and the fire alarm went off. The test was to see if the non actor would leave the room if everyone else stayed where they were and said it would be ok. They repeated the experiment a large number of times with differing personalities and in all but a minority the non actor stayed where they were, despite alarms and smoke appearing. It was crazy but we struggle to change our nature. Anyway i'm going off track on this one but this is simply an example of this, we queue because it is the group behaviour. A minority of others break that group and form their own, building resentment from the first group as they are not playing by the rules. But these rules are artificial, its the rule of the group not the rule of the road. The new group has the right to use that other lane, its just they did so in an idiotic fashion racing up the lane to push in. The sensible option is to use both lanes at an appropriate speed and filter in an alternating fashion but this rarely happens

  17. .Your question is fair sipar, as to what is acceptable. Banter is fine and part of general back and for on the forum, also the OP asked for comments and since it is a very distinctive build it is going to receive both positive and negative comments. However this thread was going way off track into irrelevant digs that had nothing to do with the car or the build. Historic clashes between members were continually coming into play. This may not be immediately obvious when reading through the thread as we have already hidden a large number of posts. G-man, as to your comment about biased moderating you should already know this is not the case but yet you continue to keep throwing this comment out there and just won't let it go. The message is simple, stay on topic or move on. I and the other mods are getting a little fed up having to hide large numbers of posts in this thread despite repeated to stay on topic. Have some respect for the OP and other members.
  18. Don't worry we are on it, this one is keeping us busy
  19. Welcome to the club Show us some pics
  20. Sold - thread locked
  21. Without the need to reference insurance cover or various rules put in place over the years, limiting the event to zeds is a common sense requirement for an event such as this. But I do completely understand your question Dan and its one that is asked every year. Wales is always a popular event that is heavily subscribed and involves considerable planning given the number of people involved. Limiting the event to zeds is therefore common sense. However, this year the numbers are less so one could argue let other cars in. But in its simplest form Wales is designed as an event exclusively for forum members with zeds. Allowing other cars moves it away from this. In its current form it is zeds only for this year. But it is fair and right to have the discussion on the forum to see if that should change going forward, but then it would become a different event. Ultimately we are trying to ensure Wales as an event continues on each year but if that format changes then so be it, that could be a good thing or possibly not, it may have to change with the times, but this has to be planned, agreed, organised and supported by those concerned and those organising the event. Hope the above makes sense in my rambling sentences
  22. Great quality job, the car is certainly unique and will stand out. Hardly recognisable from the car I've followed across the UK over the last 5 years. Good for you for going for what you wanted and being different.
  23. Definitely, all my racing buddies are on xbox 1, ps4 for the single player goodness and hardly touch my PC nowadays
  24. ok, thats still sufficient.
  25. Not that i know of, one thing though 09 plate cars will have the old sat nav system not the new connect premium which is far superior
