  1. Too right, excellent find. Plexi for glass and that's a nice weight loss for sensible money!
  2. Of course, by a while I meant a few cycles of engine at idle. Should of been more specific. Bore wash is no fun. Never heard of freezer spray? Sounds useful. Fitting bearings/shafts etc and overheating coilpacks
  3. What Rob332 said, if it runs on 5 again. Leave it run a while and then check your plugs. All should be revealed. Fresh MOT and out for a blast is good news.
  4. I had exactly same symptoms as you said tom car became a pig. Ewan sorted me out with parts listed above. Engine also revs much more freely after getting rid of dual mass flywheel. [edit] well worth putting a new slave on, spring had snapped on mine, couldn't bleed. Car stuck on ramp 1day waiting for new one. Doh
  5. Sounds like your no stranger to brembos, on the Zeds I`ve found they like the oem shims that are normally ditched. Last set of pads I ordered shims also (clark motorsport) No squealing since.
  6. Nissan manual says to put windows down or do not open/close door during battery disconnect/change due to weird window thing. Possibility of breaking glass. [Little warning, just incase type thing ]
  7. Crash? Hope its repairable and your alright
  8. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105649-installation-guide-350z-de-d1-spec-gt-throttle-controller/ I would say just go through the setup procedure again, it should recalibrate as if new. Or is this sorted now?
  9. took my oem skirts off, made it much easier and was able to clean all the crud out that had built up inside.

    snake oil?

LOL Fit a magnet to your fuel line for another 20bhp while your at it. Needed a laugh thanks.
  11. I`ll take the rears if that helps?
  12. Bushes received, faultless transaction as always. Many thanks
  13. Had same problem on mine, gets worse the more you drive it. As stated above It was the slave cylinder, return spring had snapped inside. New cylinder, fresh fluid and a bleed, job done. Its not a squeaking gate hinge, I would not recommend wd40 either.

    Crossmember wanted

Mine had gone as well, replaced with aftermarket [ultra racing]. Be warned there are two mounting brackets either end which can rust out as well. Snapped a bolt on mine trying to get it off, had to drill out, which was fun.
  15. Massive thankyou to all at Torqen. Despite supplier problems and a few issues that were completly out of there control they`re tenacity and patience with my whinging got everything sorted. Helpful and informative. Highly recommended. Thanks Torqen
  16. Does sound like its burning oil, when its dangerously low oil pressure will drop under hard cornering as pickup becomes dry. Obviously damage is being done at this point. Keep an eye on it. Glad its not just me that hates the diptick design. Either a massive leak, obvious, or rings, valve seats etc. Do you leave a blue cloud behind you?

Ewan at Clark motorsport, GDUK or go through all the Nissan breakers you can find. Must be one out there
  19. That's the desired result, car has now done 130,000 miles, everything`s a bit wooley. Steering rebuild this time
  20. If it has one intake/filter its not the later spec power. 308bhp model had twin intakes.
  21. Nice, I`ll have a set of those . Do you have new rod ends in stock? how much please? (Bushes also)
  22. Want to pull steering rack out and replace all bushes, maybe new track rod ends depending on ££. Got new power steering fluid already. I like the whiteline stuff, what do you recommend? Thanks.
