  8. Havn`t done the Z yet but one the best things I did to my old S14a was uprate engine and gearbox mounts. Huge difference to stability, no gearbox swinging about underneath. Deffinately recommended. Is your uprated mount poly or stiffer rubber?. Is the Interior noise increased? Would you rate these for a daily driven commuter car? Thanks for the feedback.
  9. I`ll have one of these please FlyBoy. PM`d details Cheers
  10. Thanks, 12hr nights so my thinking cap wasn`t on. Was a little paranoid as blue smoke is never a good sign. Cheers
  11. Lol, not quite what I meant. What causes this sudden puff?. Is there a way to eliminate it?. Is it wise to upgrade the OEM breather system to cope. Or, in all likelyhood my rings are shot and I`m doomed? Sorry should of worded it that way first time.
  12. very well could of been, yes now a straight through.
  13. Hi all, I own a 2005 350z @ 95000miles Fitted a manifold back exhaust and ever since I get a large puff of blue smoke (oil) when blipping throttle in neutral or when pulling away from a junction after coasting to a stop. Doesnt happen all the time though. I am leaning toward breather system but wanted to check if anyones had similar issues. Thanks

    B pillar brace

Was just about to start a thread asking about harness bars!! Seen the price of the sparco one and almost fell over. Need a poor mans version. Group buy in the making? (PS. FabriCage did us good deals on SXOC for the silvias, I`ll see if they`re interested.)
  22. As anyone whose had Nissans for a while knows, price requests and wait times for simple parts are always filled with amusement. Washer jets are blocked both on wiper arms and the silly little connectors on the scuttle trim. Both sides. So, two jets and two connectors. Four little plastic parts. £ 59.33 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats with discount I think the guy gave me to try to stop me laughing in the showroom so loudly. Ordered thursday morning, still waiting. Sorry had to share it. Any similarly crazy prices post them here.
  23. Bumping an old thread as I`ve just had a similar issue with my Z. Really strange, on M4 at the time, wipers were on intermittant and had sidelights on. Wipers went to full speed, headlights came on and rev counter died. Stability, traction and check engine lamps came on then wipers stopped. 3 odd miles to next exit. How i laughed. Anyway, using manual selfcheck/diagnoses guide did the cars self test and everything worked fine. Ended the test, disconnected battery, pulled all the plastic trim and had a poke about on fusebox. Put all back together, reconnecting battery and started fine. Been fine since although check engine lit, assume fault code is registered with ECU. Any strange behaviour with either Lights, dash displays, wipers, heated rear screen, radiator fan or AC clutch seem to point to the IPDM. Further investigation ensues, anybody enlighten me further be much appreciated my cars rarely fix themselves?
