    I've got Michelin Pilot super sports and Michelin Pilot Alpin 3s. Using the wrong seasonal tyre makes them wear away quicker. My tyres will do more miles as I will only use them in their assigned season. Initial cost high, overall cost over time... Considerably less!

    Winter tyres will require ~25% less braking distance than summer tyres in cold temps. You decide!
