A bit tight when I get out of my Zed in the garage, I have to push past the washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, 2 zed seats, 2 door cards, roof lining, racking for all the cleaning products, fish tank and stand, coffee table & wardrobe..... I feel your pain but surely the situation must have been obvious to anyone with even the most rudimentary spacial skills

There was a thread a while back about when to change gear etc for fuel economy blah blah blah and I had a bit of a rant people were saying then that you should change up and be in 5th gear at 30mph and 6th gear at 40mph and I just honestly couldn't believe it..... I tried it and my Zed felt like it wanted to strangle me I don't drive around like a boy racer revving the nuts out of the car I just can't see why you would race to change up the gears in pursuit of mpg when if you drive sensibly it will not be that bad anyway

Yep I find the gears pretty long in the Zed, as I said have to be doing 60+ to change up to 6th.

Sorted that now

New tank all sorted, just got to fix up the lighting and some plants.... Old one going on eBay as soon as I get it cleaned up

Used to go out with a bird from Thamesmead......... rough as fook, the area and her Glad you got the surround sorted, they are unfortunately not cheap

The trip computer is never far off for me, you do have a UK Zed that has the 80ltr tank yeah...... If you have then on a long run like this you should get 500+ miles to a tank easy, thats not even 30mpg, I get that on a 50 mile trip to Surrey

You must do a lot of stop start driving..... do you ever get above 30mph ?

6th at 38mph I think thats your problem, change gear when the engine tell you not when you think you should.... I only change up to 6th at 60-70mph it has been discussed on here many times but changing gear at too low revs is NOT economical especially in a Zed, 2k revs minimum, ideally 2.5k revs.... I am pretty sure my Zed would stall if I put it in 6th gear at 38mph

Iv'e gone from London to Newcastle on 1 tank and had enough fuel to last me a couple of days up there Averaged 34mpg I think and it was a lovely drive, stopped once at services just past york I think

Why not just paint the ones you have and then source replacements if you **** them up........
