  1. My car was registered 30/06/2010, and the previous owner told me he had it changed twice. Both were done under warranty. Not much help to you, but if you know the range of VIN numbers, i could check to see if my car falls within them?
  2. Refurbished in the OEM colour or something different? Whats the life on the tyres?
  3. Tarmac, are you planning any Carbon B Pillar covers? Id be keen to purchase both pillars and mirror covers if so.
  4. Looking good mate! I share your excitement!! Got this little lot to get fitted! Been sat looking at me for a few months, but DIY has taken up all my time!
  5. Agree with Sy! Once you take the boot trim off and the stereo out, its a case of tucking cables down the centre console. Very easy to do. A wired one will be cheaper, and better quality picture.
  6. If you arent buying a branded kit, Simons exhaust in EK are worth a shout!
  7. I used to drive mine daily, and racked up 8000miles between Feb-June. Bought a cheap runabout for some home renovations and started to use it daily. When you are sat in a 11 year old focus estate all week, its nice to get back into the Z. You appreciate it much much more.
  8. I know that feeling!! Drive a Focus Estate as a run about all week, then bring out the 370 on a Friday! Im alway up early on a Friday, and take the long route to work
  9. I done the apprenticeship route when i was 16. Could have stayed on for my final year at school and go to uni, but had zero interest in doing so. All my mates were skint and i was the one with a mortgage at 18 and a decent car. 8 years on ive moved from the tools (Heating Engineer) and now working as Mechanical Project Manager on one of the biggest jobs in Glasgow/Scotland. Apart from the apprenticeship, i put myself through an HNC course which was self funded. I feel this helped a little with the transition from site to office. I would love to progress to uni and continue on from my HNC, however i do not have enough desire to fund this myself. Im holding out for a company that will put me through it!! In short, you can make a very good living if you work hard for it!
  10. I wasnt keen on how thin the Aerojacket got at the end. It looks really thin! I wanted the best balance of lookig standard, but being a little different, and the Carbon Signal seemed the better choice. Cant wait to get this on my car!!!

    Brake Pads

One of my fronts was squealing, so i took it out and copper greased the back of it. At 40k miles, i was surprised to see plently life left in them. As said, it is a very very easy job on these cars!
  12. Good job mate! Im trying to get a hold of that lip just now. Where did you get yours? (CF centre)
  13. Not enough 370's in this thread! Nothing too fancy, painted the cover and brace. Will get round to painting the intakes gloss black at some point.
  14. Haha, if it wasnt my daily driver then i would probably go for something more daring! I'll stick to the neutral colours

    370Z Nismo

Got to agree! I normally think silver cars look very plain and boring, but that suits the Nismo styling very very well. Silver and Black are my favourites!
  16. Been looking at the US forums and most use a Krylon Fusion paint. Never seen that over here, so will do a bit of digging to find the best paint to use. With it being a black car, i didnt want to go too dark, so i think a nice gunmetal/graphite would look good on the reflector, and gloss black shrouds (Or possibly leave the shrouds silver). Going to do the dual Halos at the same time, so it will be different. Wish me luck
  17. Ive bought a spare set of 370z headlights to open up. All being well, i will then have a spare set i could open up paint and sell on. Wish me luck!!
  18. Yeah thought this may have been me as im 2 minutes from the Polmadie junction, but wasn't me on this occasion. I do see a grey 370z in Rutherglen now and again. Female driver.
  19. I think the red looks okay as standard, however with a few mods i think it is fantastic.
  20. Im not sure who you are doing this with, but i ran one last year via Car Tech Centre. They do not specifically state that they sell the 600 model on the website, however if you send AJ an email, he will let you know for sure. He was very helpful and his communications were great! ####################### BlackVue DR350 8GB - £90.00 inc P&P (Save £9.00) BlackVue DR380H-HD 8GB - £150.00 inc P&P (Save £15.00) BlackVue DR400G-HD II 16GB - £195.00 inc P&P (Save £15.00) BlackVue DR500GW-HD 16GB - £225.00 inc P&P (Save £15.00) BlackVue Power Magic PRO - £32.00 inc P&P (Save £3.00) Please let me know if you have any further questions. 21. For what it is worth, I had a breif look into the Touareg earlier this year, and the vibe i got from the forums was go for the more refined 3.0 V6 TDI. Maybe worth having a look into that?
  22. I think they would have been a perfect match for the Nismo! Surprised the option wasn't even offered!
  23. Love the black car, much prefer it to the white Nismo!!
