  1. I bought my 370z in February, and at the time i knew i got a fairly good deal. Recently i have changed jobs, sold my flat, and looking to get a house with my girlfriend, so i have been looking at the possibility of getting a more practical car. After searching Autotrader, i can only see one car under £16k, and the ones closest to my spec/condition are up around £17.5k and upwards. Considering i paid £15.5k for mine, and at the time there was a few around the same price, i find that hard to believe! Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just the time of year and folk want to enjoy the warmer months in a nice car?? In general, the 370z seems to be holding its value quite well!
  2. When you feel it slipping, does your clutch pedal go a little slack, and not return fully at first?
  3. Seriously love your car! Ive seen some cars on the US forums with the splash gaurds fitted on the rear of the front arches (on the start of the side skirt). I think it blends quite well, and suits the lip. I know there is cutting involved, but i think the CF fangs would set it off too!!
  4. Best splitter available for the 370z IMO! Looks great!!!! Is the paint match a little off, or is it just the different angles?
  5. If this could happen before the 20th July, I would be in. However im moving house after that, and I just will not have any money to spend lol
  6. Good news! Dont suppose you have a contact for this gentleman?
  7. I have similar problems with mine. The juddering i put down to being the DMF failing. I also think the CSC is away, as i have had the pedal stick to the floor once before, and my clutch fluid was dirty and low. Plan is to go the whole hog and get a Southbend Steel Single Mass Flywheel, Southbend Stage 2 Daily Clutch, Heavy Duty Concentric Slave Cylinder, Master Cylinder and braided flexi clutch hose. Sad thing is, the cost of parts is around £1000 alone!! Cake - What mileage is your car on?
  8. Epic photos, and what a brilliant stance! Is it 25mm spacers you have all round?
  9. PM sent I thought i should just update this thread with my dealings with Asad. After reporting the problem (which i should have doen via PM originally), Asad was quick to send out a replacement from a new batch. Unfortunately, i have not had the time to even contemplate changing this over yet, but Asad has been great! The new badge looks like a better finish, certainly from a different batch.
  10. I love the Evo-R lip! colour coded ends, and carbon in the middle is a perfect combo IMO. I was looking into one of them, Evo-R carbon diffuser, and Shine Auto rear spats.
  11. I had a squealing front pad, so i spent the time taking out the pads, checking/cleaning them and putting a bit of copper grease on the back of them. They are low, but not too bad. Anyway, i topped up the fluid, and the light is no longer coming on. And thankfully, the screeching has gone!!
  12. It was happening on mine the past few months, getting more and more obvious. I read up that it meant one of three things: Handbrake applied Low brake fluid ABS problem I believe mine is low fluid, coupled with pads which are all on the low side. Got some Dot4 to just top it up, but i think the problem is the rear pads being low.
  13. I thought what the hell and cracked out the sand paper, rubbing compound and some polish. Took out most of it, but its creased all over the place!! Still, makes it a little more bearable for the time being.
  14. Yer, its a stinker! Its the inconvienience that pisses me off the most! I feel your pain too!
  15. Today must have been the idiots day out in Glasgow!! Some tool reversed into me in the tesco filling station at Silverburn! The staff complimented how calm i remained throughout!!! Angry does not even describe it!!! Sat holding your horn, while the car reverses a good 3-4m, straight into your drivers door!!!
  16. I would guess there is some kind of detector wiried in, and that power cable is for a sat nav or display of some kind.
  17. Complete guess, but could it be a concealed radar detector? Why not send the previous owner a nice letter asking them to email you back?
  18. This is a genuine 370z spare wheel. The yanks get them in some models.
  19. I filled up yesterday, probably the 4th fill since i noticed it, and the last light was illuminated! Strange goings on!!
  20. I got my Dad to pump the pedal 5 times, and then hold the pedal down. Open and close the bleed nipple. Then repeat the process. After bleeding, you may have to lift the pedal up until it builds pressure up again.
  21. That may have been me! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82783-clutch-fluid-replacement-370z Just make sure you do plenty cycles, and do not open the bleed nipple for too long. It is simply open and close. If you leave it open you can get air in the system. Every 8 cycles or so, you will need to top up your reservoir.
  22. I think it is a combination of my CSC and Flywheel causing my problems. Looking at getting an HD CSC, Southbend Clutch and SMF flywheel. Keep us updated on how it feels when you get it back!
  23. I like that more than the current Nismo! Seats look lovely! The biggest flaw with the current Nismo is the seats. It looks like an iron on Nismo badge!
  24. Looks good from what you can see so far!
  25. Im in the Southside but work out in New Mains, and im out and about to various parts of the country during the day. Welcome!
