Im thinking my flywheel is on the way out, well thats what i think it is anyway. Im not getting no slip and the biting point of the clutch is normal but I'm getting an occasional metallic rattle from the gearbox/cat area that sounds metallic. I thought it might have been my ally under tray hitting on my front gt spec brace but thats all tight and doesnt seem to have a movement to have a rattle that sounds that loud also it should be constant from that. I also have a judder when pulling away when I've been sitting in traffic for more than 5-10 mins or so. there isn't any whine and sounds fine on tickover when its not rattling. I've just gone over 74000 miles on a standard clutch.

I have insider knowledge on this, Basically being banned is a lottery, I got a month ban earlier this year, not sure why but I can only assume my number came out in the ball machine so I consider it lucky. Mine doesn't have heated mirrors, it's an import and was an option that wasn't ticked I think, I find that strange because they splashed out on Bose sat nav and brembos but hey ho.

I have one fitted on my zed with the thermostat plate and it works fine IMO, I fitted a temp gauge with it aswell so I can see when it's up to temp. It doesn't take too long perhaps 5-10 mins to get the oil temp up to 80*. Be careful if/when you fit it though as when you fill it with oil the thermo plate will be closed so it will still take 4.7 litres but when the engine warms up the plate opens and fills the empty rad and will drop your oil to just on the min of the dipstick so keep an eye out for it
