Anything above about 6500k will be worse than the standard bulb, the more blue in the light the less light will be reflected. Although many think it looks better. The K figures have nothing to do with light output, just the colour of the light. I suspect that as the stock bulb is 4500k and white light is 5000k that your not gonna get any better unless you can get 5000k bulbs. Colour Temp (K) Colour Description: 3000k Yellow light (suitable for fog lights) 4300k White light with tinges of yellow. 5000K: PURE WHITE LIGHT. 6000K: White light with tinges of blue 8000K: Distinct blue color light 10000K: Bluish-green light 12000K: Bluish-purplish light. Unfortunately you will never get a low to the ground sports car with shaped headlights to be anywhere near as good as a higher sitting car with headlights sitting at 90deg to the road. It's just not gonna happen with the angles involved. Funny enough, the Zed is has the best headlights of any car I've owned.

No that is correct. If you have the pre facelift DE car, they have HID dipped beam and normal High beam. The facelift lights are BI-Xenon so are HID on both.
  3. As on my post above I got these www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-led-extreme-power-1.5w-360-degree-white-blue-red-amber.html They have been on for 2 years now with no problems.
  4. Definitely check the battery first. Have got a multimeter or anything you can check your battery voltage with?
  5. Welcome to the club. I've used you in the past for my Zed with no problems. May come back some day.
  6. I would'n't be too hung up on mileage, more on condition. Some evidence of service history is always nice. And don't let DIY service history put you off, I would rate that far above Nissan Service history as an enthusiast takes alot more care of thier car and generally knows more about the car than most main dealers. A well maintained one should go on for couple hundred K easy. I appreciate its very hard to check, but if a seller mentions its ok to run on 95Ron, or it uses a little oil, personally I'd just walk away as its not worth the risk of any underlying problems that may have been caused.
  7. We've had about 2 inches settled in West Norfolk for about 4 days now, but with temps of -13degC in the night it hasn't melted at all. Not used to temps like that down here! Not expecting any more snow until this afternoon, but should be a couple of inches when it gets here.
  8. This made me laugh. So typical of any 5 min job. I tend not to start any jobs on the car unless I've got half a day to spare.
  9. This is so similar to me last year, you wouldn't believe. You've made the right choice by the way. The Jagstang isn't a particularly nice guitar to play and like you say isn't even the one he played anyway. Although it does look cool. After playing both the Mustang and the Jaguar I decided on the Jag but that's just personal preference. You wont be disappointed with the Mustang.
  10. Welcome to the club. Lets have a look at your drift car then.
  11. It may help if you actually state the tyre size as listed on the box. Also a rough price guide would help.
  12. I used to gig with a '74 20th anniversary LP custom gold top back in the 90's that i was lent. It was ****in heavy! But it did sound a lot better than my MIK squire Tele I had at the time.
  13. I thought that to. I can't think of a more iconic guitar to sum up the 90's ( ie 20 years ago) Also, I wouldn't say buying something after 20 years of wanting it, was an impulse buy. That's what I old myself anyway. Lol
  14. I did EXACTLY the same thing last year. Wanted a fender Jaguar ever since I first saw Kurt Cobain with one in the early 90's. never could afford one. I have a few other guitars, and like you don't even play them any more. But last year I thought, **** it, treat yourself. So I bought myself one........have I played it much......... No..............but do I regret getting it..........absolutely not!! I love it so much. Even just go and look at it sometimes. Get it bought!
  15. Yeah it will be the hfc. It's always worse in the cold. Shame you spent money changing your O2 sensors. If your using torque on your phone, yes you can reset them. Just keep an eye on it. Alex's spacers might do the trick if your not going down the Uprev route.
  16. Very well done. Looks a top job.
